Two Years Later...
Normal P.O.V
"You've been doing so well Sasuke, I'm so proud of you! Next time, let's dive in a little deeper on your childhood, okay"
"Hn, okay..."
"Oh and Sasuke, have you tried that exercise we've talked about?"
"..."
"Sasuke?"
"I'm doing fine aren't I? I don't need to go out and meet someone new, no one will compare to him ..."
"I know it hurts, but it's been two years Sasuke, he's not coming back, you should really try to put yourself back out there, at least go on one date"
"...fine, but i'm not going to like it and i'm not going to try and be pleasant either"
A chuckle left a young woman's lips as she stared at onyx eyes. "That's fine, you don't have to like it, it's just to practice, maybe try to find someone while you're out" she smiled while looking over her notes. Sasuke grunted in response, gathering his things he got up "if we are all done, I'll take my leave now" he stated grabbing his jacket off the coat rack.
"Oh just one more thing" the younger women uttered "I know you'll be going out for your business conference weekend, if at any point you have something you want to talk about or need help, feel free to call me, day or night...you've made such amazing progress I'm really proud of you Sasuke, so if there's any way I can help you more I don't mind helping you after hours" she finished, smiling at the older male.
Sasuke paused in his movements for a moment "thank you for the offer, but I don't think I'll need it..." with that being said he left her office.
---
It's been a little over two years since Naruto left Sasuke, the two haven't been in contact since. Sasuke had the wake up call he needed and started going to therapy in hopes that he can learn from his past mistakes, and make himself a better person.
It'd be a lie though to say he hopes that by going to therapy he'll one day run into Naruto, and he'll just take him back right on the spot. Sasuke knew that he was asking for too much for something he had screwed up in the first place, but that didn't mean he couldn't dream of his own fairy tale ending.
Naruto spent 6 months locked in his bedroom, mourning his relationship the only way he knew how, which consisted of laying in bed, watching different animes, eating loads of junk food, and occasionally stalking Sasuke on social media. Over time, he stopped feeling sorry for himself, he had done nothing wrong, so why was it that he should be the one to suffer and bawl his eyes out for a man that couldn't even open his eyes and see that he was the best thing in front of him!
Once he had accepted this, he had made the first step towards being healed, soon enough he found himself thinking less and less about the Uchiha. Wanting to fully move on and put himself to work, he began working for his father as COO(1). Naruto was actually a rather skilled businessman, many people would forget that though, for once he started dating Sasuke, he became known as 'Mr.Uchiha's eye candy' or 'Sugar baby' etc. people made up loads of nicknames for him like that once he had gotten together with Sasuke.
Naruto had stopped working for his dad once he had started dating Sasuke, it was Sasuke's idea to have Naruto quit his job, and become his stay at home man, Naruto didn't mind though, since Sasuke made more than enough to support the both of them, and he enjoyed doing house work and making dinner, it was a nice to not have to work like crazy, and stay late at the office. He didn't miss it not once, that was though until he noticed Sasuke distancing himself that's what made Naruto think that maybe he made a mistake leaving the company.
