Clone is your other self. They are human beings.
You don't really have to script them. It's an automatic thing, but yes if you need you can script them.
Clones can shift.
They will act normal.
Your clone won't do anything you wouldn't do.
Clones can manifest and you will have it when you come back.
Clones will do exactly what you do in your free time or anything that you have scripted.
I prefer you to script that clones know that they are clones and won't tell other people.
Your clone is you. When you shift you move your consciousness to another you, the you in another reality.
