"Seokjin-ah! If your cute little butt isn't in this chair by the time I count to ten you won't get any breakfast!"Jin's eyes flew wide open and he jumped out of his little bed. There's no way he's about to miss breakfast.
He climbs down the stairs slowly so he doesn't fall and starts yelling to his mother, "I'm coming Eomma! I'm coming."
He finally walks into the kitchen and sees his father and his brother already eating.
When his mother sees him looking so tiny and adorable, she picks him up and kisses him all over his face.
"How'd my handsome prince sleep last night."
Jin is giggling as he's being carried over to his seat.
"Good eomma. I slept good."
After she sits him down with a plate full of food in front of him, she kisses the top of his head and returns to the stove.
Jin starts to eat and is happily swinging his feet and wiggling his little body side to side to an imaginary song playing in his head.
His older brother Namjoon looks at him and asked, "Are you ready for your first day of school Jinnie?"
Jin's eyes showed the excitement he was feeling.
"Yes! I can't wait to make lots of new friends."
They suddenly hear a loud grumble and their father says, "You're there to learn above all else Seokjin-ah. I'd better not start getting reports from your teachers telling me you are wasting time playing with your friends."
Jin shook his head and said, "You won't Appa. I'll be a good student. But I still want to make friends."
He just grumbles once more and returns to his food.
Namjoon smiles at his little brother and winks at him. Jin giggles, knowing his big brother will be with him.
After breakfast he goes back to his room to start getting dressed for school. His mother already laid his clothes out for him and he can't wait to get going.
When he's finished he grabs his small backpack and starts walking downstairs.
His brother is tying his shoes by the door so he goes to put his shoes on as well. Their mother soon comes down carrying her purse and says, "Are you boys ready for school?"
"Yes!" They both answer.
They are soon on their way to the local elementary school. Their mother walks in with Jin into his classroom, and Joonie goes to his. He's already been here so he knows where his class is.
Jin hugs his backpack tight, and looks at the other children running around. He nervously glances all over the room.
When his mother finds his teacher he is introduced to her.
"Hello there! It's so good to meet you Seokjin-ah. I will be your teacher this year Mrs. Han. Would you like to put your backpack inside your own cubby? Every student will get to decorate your own so you will know which one is yours. Ok."
He looks from her and to his mother who is smiling wide. When he nods his teacher leads him to where all the little cubbyholes are and tells him to pick one.
He looks up to ask his mothers opinion, but she's not there. He looks around in a panic and sees her talking to another child's mother.
"Eomma!" He cries out for her.
She turns and sees his tear filled eyes and excuses herself before rushing to his side. She kneels down and asks him, "What's wrong Jinnie?"
"I thought you left me alone?" He sniffles.
