"Why would you hide things from me Namjoon-ah?"

The members of BTS had gone to their respective rooms after greeting Namjoon's mother. Jungkook and Namjoon stayed behind in the living room to talk to her. They had told her everything that had happened since Jadeline moved to Seoul.

"Why did you treat Samchon and his family so badly?" Namjoon asked her back.

His mother sighed sadly. Her shoulders had slouched and she covered her face with her hands.

"I have made many mistakes in my life, Namjoon-ah, some worse than others. I was blinded by age old stereotypes in my youth so when I heard that your Uncle was marrying someone who wasn't Korean I lost it. It was very wrong of me. I should have seen how happy Monica made him. She was more family to him than I ever was. I understood all this a while ago but I did not have the courage to face him after how I had treated his family in the past. And now my brother is no longer with me and I live with this regret every single day. I want to be there for my niece, that child has been through a lot in such a short time."

Tears were falling continuously from her eyes. Namjoon embraced his mother and wiped away her tears.

"Jadeline wants you in her life as well, Auntie Kim." Jungkook said to her.

"What made you change your heart towards them, Eomma?" Namjoon asked his mother.

"You. All of you. When I saw that such young boys are spreading so much love around the World I started to rethink my stance on a lot of things. You are spreading the message of equality, unity and love all around the World. I am so proud of you my son. My Namjoon-ah has grown up to be such a kind and intelligent man. I feel proud of who you are today and I want you to be proud of being my son as well."

"Dad missed you a lot too, Gomo (Aunt). He loved you."

Jadeline was standing near them. She had come downstairs a few minutes ago and heard everything her Aunt had said.

Jadeline went and sat beside her Aunt.

Namjoon's mother looked over her lovingly and smiled.

"You have grown up beautifully." She put her hand over Jadeline's head and patted.

Jadeline grinned at her observation and thanked her.

"Dad had forgiven you a long time ago, Gomo. He used to talk a lot about you during his last days." Jadeline told her Aunt.

Jungkook brought two glasses of water for both the women. The thanked him and took the glasses from him. Namjoon and Jungkook left them so that they could talk privately.

Jadeline and her Aunt talked for some more time after that. Jadeline told her about her life in Seoul and her Aunt asked her to visit Ilsandong-gu whenever she got the time to.

"Bring Jungkook as well. I know that boy nicely as Namjoon's friend but I would also like to know him as my niece's boyfriend."

Jadeline smiled and nodded at her in agreement.

"I will take my leave now, Jadeline. Namjoon's father must be waiting for me. But promise me you will visit soon."

"Yes I will, Gomo."

Jadeline hugged her. She felt closer to her father in this moment when she was in her Aunt's embrace.

Jadeline called the boys downstairs so that they could bid farewell to Namjoon's mother. After she left Jin, Yoongi and Hoseok decided to cook Bibimbap and Dakgalbi for dinner.
