Happy birthday Kim Seok-Jin <3

Translated from Korean

Jungkook felt as if someone had thrown icy cold water on him, or had pinched his arms very hard, or had smacked his head with a hammer. He and Jadeline moved away from each other faster than light. Taehyung was standing a few feet away from them. He was looking at them with a shocked expression.

"Hyung, let me explain." Jungkook started but Taehyung interrupted him.

"Explain? Explain what, Jungkook? Guys come here fast." He called out loudly for everyone.

"Taehyung Oppa please just listen to us." Jadeline pleaded him.

Jungkook was thinking what to do next. Jadeline and him weren't exactly in the most innocent of positions. Anyone could tell they were about to kiss or from some angles it looked like they were already kissing.

"What happened Voo?" Jin asked Taehyung. He had a weird habit of calling Taehyung, Voo or Vur instead of his stage name which was V.

"Hyung you will not believe what these two were doing." Taehyung exclaimed with the most scandalous expression he could muster.

"What?" Hoesok asked.

"They were making pizza without us." He said accusatorily, pointing towards them.

Jimin and Jin gasped loudly.

Jungkook and Jadeline exhaled in relief after what seemed like the longest time.

"Oh yeah, Jungkook was already making pizza before I came so it's all his fault really." Jadeline smirked, and went to stand with the others leaving Jungkook on his own.

He murmured something which sounded awfully like 'traitor'.

"Well now I am hungry for pizza. Jungkook must be punished for making pizza without us." Namjoon said.

"Yes, justice." Yoongi replied. And every other member hummed in agreement. Jadeline could never understand these people. They were literally this happy for pizza.

"Fine, you all go and get fresh I will put three more pizzas in the oven." Jungkook sighed and agreed.

"Jungkook-ah let me help you." Jimin smiled and offered.

They both then started to make more pizzas while the others went to freshen up. Jadeline was just happy to go from there. She could still not understand what happened downstairs. And why she felt like she did.

Meanwhile, downstairs Jungkook was just as confused as Jadeline. He honestly did not plan to do anything with the feeling he had for her. He knew it from the very first time he met her that he felt something. She was this pretty girl on whom he had spilled coffee. She spoke English like a Superfast Train. Of course at that time it was merely a sort of attraction but as time had passed he could see how amazing she really was.

She had bonded and gelled so well with all the members, even the ones who kept mostly to themselves like Jin, Yoongi and Taehyung. Jungkook found it mesmerising how she was so focused about everything she did. She put so much of her time in perfecting things she was already perfect at, like Mathematics and stuff. Who needed more than 98 marks in that subject? If Jungkook ever got that much marks in High School Mathematics he would have probably tattooed it on his body somewhere.

She had the most luscious brown locks which always reminded Jungkook of warm evenings, or a walk on the beach at sunset in summer. Her chubby cheeks were perhaps the most endearing and cutest feature of hers. He liked when she had her eyes on him, when she focused only on him when the group would dance or sing. In all his twenty one years he had never felt like this for anyone. He always thought it was because he never had any time to give to anyone but with her it was different. He wanted to make time for her. He wanted to sit with her and talk to her. He wanted to know her likes and dislikes.

Did she like her pizza with or without pineapples? Did she prefer books or movies? Did she like summers or winters? He wanted to ask her all this. But he did not know how. Why did the first girl he ever have to like seriously have to be his Namjoon Hyung's cousin? That one cousin who was so important for him, for whom he was so concerned always. He would never approve Jungkook for his genius and beautiful cousin.

He could not remove the image of her being so close to him today in the kitchen. Her cheeks were the most fascinating colour of pink when he had come closer to her. He was so close to the answer he was almost 90 per cent sure of, but no, all the members had to come back early today of all days.

"Jungkook-ah, I have asked you 3 times to pass me the oven mitts. Where are you lost?" Jimin's voice dragged him out of his thoughts.

"Even I don't know the answer to that, Hyung." Jungkook replied quietly. Actually, this was incorrect, he knew where he was lost or more precisely in whose thoughts he was lost but he did not know what to do about it.

"We have all noticed that from some days your attention span has become very less. You have again started talking less with us just like earlier this year. Is everything okay at home?" Jimin asked him. He had put the pizzas in the oven and turned towards Jungkook. Earlier in the year Jungkook had withdrawn himself a lot from the others when the topic of disbanding had first come up.

"Yes Hyung, everything is fine at home. I just have some personal dilemmas that I am not able to solve." Jungkook answered. He was embarrassed to admit his feelings for Jadeline to Jimin because Namjoon Hyung had trusted them all with his cousin sister and Jungkook that felt by him liking her, he had in some way crossed a line he shouldn't have.

"Just know that I am always here for you. We all are." Jimin said and patted Jungkook's arm.

Their impromptu pizza party was over within minutes. Everyone was famished after a hard day at practice so they all gobbled down the food quickly except Jin.

"Yaah, you guys are older you should set a good example for the kids but you are eating food faster than them. Are you even chewing?" Jin asked Yoongi, Namjoon and Hoseok.

They just gave him a blank stare and continued eating.

Which made Jin angrier, "These people never listen to me." He muttered.

"I listen to you Jin Oppa so you should only make good food for me and not these people." Jadeline said and went to sit on the carpet near Jin legs.

"I know sweetheart. She is the only one who listens to me. And so I will only make hot chocolate for her before bed today." Jin declared and Jadeline all but beamed.

"Waah. Jadeline is such a suck up. A total teacher's pet." Taehyung complained.

"Hey, there is nothing wrong with that." Jimin argued.

"You are only saying this because you are also like her only Jimin-ah. Back in High School you used to remind teachers of tests if they ever forgot." Taehyung snitched. Jimin and Taehyung had attended High School together in Seoul during their trainee years.

Jin gave in after all the loud pleadings and puppy eyes and made hot chocolate for everyone before bed. Then they all decided to turn in for the night because they had another day of early practice tomorrow morning.

While they were all leaving for their rooms Taehyung caught up to Jungkook who was ahead of him.

"Don't think I did not see anything in the kitchen today. I just didn't say anything because I wanted to talk to you and Jadeline first."
