If Xtale Chara was in the promised neverland

It was another day in grace field house, children were running around in the house getting ready for breakfast. Emma came out with a happy smile as usual saying good morning to everyone.

As everyone sat at the table one kid decided to ask

"Hey, wheres chara?"

Isabella smiled sadly, emma looked away sad missing her brother. Norman comforted emma while ray just sighed in annoyance

"Chara is in the infirmary at the moment, he woke up yesterday so he's gonna eat breakfast in bed"

Isabella said taking chara's plate and walking off to bring it to him. Emma sighed while she ate

"I hope chara feels better"

She said with sad tone

"Im sure he'll get better soon emma, he just needs time."

Norman said trying to make emma feel a bit better

"This is his first time getting sick so im sure he'll be back to normal in no time. No need to worry"

Ray said looking away clearly worried about his     Two eye colored brother

"Ray if this is his first time getting sick that what happened to him!? He never gets sick so-"

"Emma, relax okay? Chara will be better soon we just gotta wait"

Norman said cutting off emma's panicking, she sighed and nodded as she continued to eat.

time skip

Everyone was playing tag together as usual, emma ray and norman were planning to escape until someone started to walk startlingly the trio.

"Whos-"

Norman stopped talking when he saw chara walk out with his usual expression

"Hey guys, im feelings better now so whats the-"

"Chara!!!"

Emma yelled running and jumping into chara's arms, chara was surprised but smiled and threw emma up a little high making her laugh

"Woah! the emma i know never jumps into my arms"

Chara said jokingly, he then gave a toothy grin to emma making her laugh more

"Who are you again?"

He said to her making her hug on him tighter

"Your sister you dummy!"

"Alright alright, come on we should focus on the plan now"

Ray said walking up to the two, chara turned emma away from ray pretending to protect her

"Oh your one to talk mr edgy lord, oh thats right! Your so emo you can barely focus on anything."

Chara said making ray punch him in the shoulder, norman laughed at the three's silliness as emma laughed more while tears pricked her eyes.

Chara put emma down and the four continued to work on escaping with everyone, after they finished it was time for dinner

After dinner

"Hey. Idiot"

Ray said to the white haired boy, he turned around and looked in confusion.

"What was going on, you got sick and you suddenly feel better? Wanna tell me what wad that."

Chara stayed quiet for a while and then spoke

"I..started to have a large headache, and started to get images in my head. How we didn't escape, how i saw..you dead along with the others. But i could only see you..your eyes were just looking up..as if there was nothing but the sky that you could look at."

As he talked chara began to cry, ray's eyes widen in shock. Chara then realized he was crying and wiped his tears away

"But anyway we should go to sleep, it's pretty la- ....ray."

Ray was hugging him, tightly. Chara stood there for a minute not knowing what to do but then hugged back slowly and tightly.

"We are going to escape chara. I wont die on you, i promise."

"...okay."

Chara knew he was lying, but he went along with it anyway. He smirked and told ray something that shocked him.

"I know your the traitor ray. And i wont let you burn yourself to dust when you try. So lets escape, together."
