I read through an old fashioned
romance book on the shelf
about an heiress
falling for a stableman
and how she gave up her entire world
for the arms of a someone
who couldn't offer her jewels
but the shimmery diamonds of his
touch and the atmosphere of true love
and how much I admired
this fictional woman
for not caring one bit about riches
or tiaras
but simply the fact that
she loved herself enough
to know that riches are in actions
and emotions
and not the silver in ones pocket
