I carve our initials
Into this tree trunk
flamboyant carvings with curve and
spine
you made me yours
and you are mine
that is love
and this passionate love
must be a crime
we lose track of time
as fragrant verses
spill from my lungs
I sing for you
for we are in love
so let us love while we are yet young
and the stories are told
and the bells have yet to be rung
and the wars are yet to be won
and the years are remembered as being fun
so let us love in the
here and now
before life gives us
pain and doubts
before we have a reason to pout
let us live before the drought
let us dive into the sea
with love right by us
you and me
we can not break this symphony
love's an anthem that sets us free
So let us love another day
let us keep our wiles at bay
keep us in perfect peace
as we both carve our intial's into the
tree
though infection
come and toil at day
we have a friendship
that will not wither away
a light, an anthem set in these feels
we are light of the morning
that alway's heals
