Chapter 12•broom

You wake up in the morning to your head nuzzled into George's chest And Fred's arms wrapped around your waist
You never wanted this feeling to end, you're dream boys asked you to be their girlfriend the night before and you're cuddling with Them in bed
You look you at George who looks half awake
'You're finally up' he smiles kissing you on the forehead
'Morning Georgie' you smile
You hear Fred let out a big yawn 'morning princess' he says in a husky morning voice and nuzzles into your back
'Morning' you chuckle
'How'd you sleep y/n?' George asks
'Really well, I love sleeping between you two' you blush
Fred sits up and stretches his arms 'so y/n what's the plan for today?' He asks
You remember yesterday, the twins asked you to go to their house for the holidays and you and Ginny planned to go shopping together
'Well I've go to go to the owlery and tell my parents that I'm going to your guys place for Christmas and I've gotta to go hodgsmeade to get presents' you reply
The train is coming tomorrow and you still haven't gotten anyone anything
'I've gotta go shower these sparkles off as well' you follow
'Can we come to hogsmeade with you?' George asks
'I don't want to spoil your guys presents!' You answer 'I won't be to long so I'll meet you guys back here' you sit up and let out a big stretch
'Okay but our present for you gonna beat yours' Fred teases and tickles your sides causing you to laugh
'I bet to differ' you reply laughing

You give the boys a kiss and head to the Slytherin common room, which is thankfully empty and grab some clothes And make your way to the prefect bathrooms for a shower
All you can think about is what Christmas with the weasleys is gonna be like, you're a little scared but also very excited

You walk to the owlery to send a letter to your parents you pick an owl and begin writing

"Hello mum and dad, I've been having a great time at Hogwarts this year, I've made friends with a group of Gryffindor students and it's amazing!
My grades have all been great so far even in potions!!
My new group of friends has asked me if I'd spend the Christmas holidays with them and their family and I said yes, it will spare you the drive the the London station and it will be a great opportunity for me to see what a wizarding family is like.
I love you guys so much and I miss you both

You place the letter into and envelope and attach it to the owls leg and send him off

Ginny and you meet up and start walking to hogsmeade, it's particularly cold today and George let you borrow his jacket again, it was really warm and smelt just like him, the twins stayed back and packed their trunks.
'So y/n, what are you gonna get my brothers?' Ginny asks with a spring in her voice
'I'm not to sure actually' you answer, you havent really thought about what you'll get them, they never really seem like they need or want anything, but then it came to you
'I have an idea!' You yell

Once you guys get to hogsmeade you go to honeydukes, you buy a bunch of candy for Ginny, Harry, Ron and Hermione, even though it's just candy you know they'll all appreciate it, plus you need to save as much money as possible for the twins present
You guys go to all kinds of stores and you buy Fred and George's parents each a small gift as a thank you for letting you join them for Christmas
You get mrs weasley some knitting yarn and mr weasley a quill that never runs out of ink
You guys make it to a store called Spintwitches Sporting Needs
'What do you need from here ?' Ginny asks
'Well, a month or so ago I was watching the twins at quidditch practice and I noticed how worn out their brooms were' you answer with a smile as you enter the store
You look around the store and see an array of brooms, you've never actually played quidditch before so it's a little hard to try and buy one you think they'll like
Thankfully you have Ginny whose the biggest quidditch nerd you know
'So what one do you think they'd like?' You ask her as she's looking around in awe
'Well honestly they'd probably appreciate any of these, they've never had a new broomstick before' Ginny says looking around thinking
'The best broom they have here is definitely a firebolt, but if I were you I'd go with the nimbus 2001, it'd be perfect for them seeing as they're beaters' Ginny says confidently
'Perfect' you say
The store clerk wraps the gifts in paper and you and Ginny head to the hogsmeade post office to mail them to the burrow so you don't have to carry them onto the train.
It's starting to get a little dark so you and Ginny head back to the castle for dinner

You're forced to sit at the Slytherin table for dinner which sucks but you're still happy
You're so excited for tomorrow, you'll be spending everyday for a whole week with the weasleys, you turn around to look at the Gryffindor table and see the twins laughing and making fun of Ron whose very obviously hung over
You chuckle and catch Fred's eyes, he winks and you which makes you smile and blush
You turn back around to your food
You see Draco whose face was still pretty beat in, he gives you a dirty look which gets Pancys attention
'What are you looking at mudblood, you want potato's thrown at your ugly face again' she spurts
You ignore her and look back down at your dinner
'Don't ignore me mudblood, I'll tear your face up like I tore your dress'
You start to get heated, there's nothing you want more then to stand up and stun her but you're keeping your cool
You turn around and see that all your friends at the Gryffindor table have noticed
'Stupid muggle borns, your kind should be band from this school' goyle adds
Your anger takes over and you grab your wand from your pocket but before anyone notices you hear a familiar voice
'Misses Parkinson and mr goyle 50 points from Slytherin' yelps professor McGonagall walking towards the Slytherin table
'And you're to confined to your common room for the night' she adds
Pancy and goyle both roll their eyes and leave the table
Professor McGonagall makes her way towards you 'are you okay dear?' She asks putting an arm around you
'I'm okay, thank you professor' you answer
'That's good' she's adds ' when you're finished your meal I'd like to have a word with you'
