CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

Paglapag ng eroplano ay agad kaming tumayo ni Dixon at lumabas dala ang mga gamit namin. Siya kasi ang may hawak ng mga 'to maliban sa small bag na dala ko. Hindi ko lubos maisip na babalik ako sa lugar na akala kong hindi ko na matatapakang muli. Wala naman akong planong bumalik dito kung hindi lang nagkaroon ng emergency. My heart and soul belongs to San Vicente, where we continue our lives with better surroundings.

Paglabas ng airport ay agad kaming nilapitan ng isang lalaki na halatang tauhan ng kamag-anak namin. Pinagbuksan ako ng pinto ng isa pang lalaki kaya't agad akong sumakay at hinintay si Dixon na inaayos ang gamit namin sa likod ng sasakyan. Hindi nagtagal ay agad din siyang pumasok at agad naman kaming umalis.

Sa malapit na hotel kami ni Dixon nag check in dahil iba ang traffic dito kumpara sa San Vicente. Ayaw ko din namang ma-late kaya napagkasunduan namin na malapit lang sa company ang tutuluyan namin. The hotel feels and looks luxurious from the gold and white theme of the lobby with the giant chandelier placed in the center of it. The staff are also wearing black and gold uniforms with their name at the left side of it, their warm smile makes me feel like we're welcome in every corner of this hotel. I think this hotel is called "Imperial Majestic."

From the lobby to elevator to hallways, you can see the gold details everywhere. It seems like this was really inspired by high-class people who want to be like entitled people. We reached our room and as I expected, he picked the luxury suite with two bedrooms, one common bathroom, spacious living room with a divider for kitchen area and balcony with tables and chairs. This cost thousands of money, tsk.

"Why did you book a high-end suite?" Honestly, I'm okay with a regular room with two beds and a bathroom. I don't need this spacious room for just the two of us!

He looked at me while placing our bags in the corner of the table. "Your cousins picked this room, don't blame me."

I rolled my eyes. "Why did they do this? Alam naman nilang hindi ako sanay sa ganito."

He chuckled. "Pumayag naman sila na magsama tayo sa iisang suite pero hindi sa iisang kwarto. Segurista ang mga pinsan mo, e."

Yeah, right. Wala talaga silang palalagpasin kahit maliit na bagay. Kinuha ko ang aking gamit at pumasok sa kwartong para sa akin. Simple lang naman ang kwarto ko pero halatang mamahalin ang mga details dahil puro white at gold din, queen-size bed, huge bathroom with bathtub, walk-in closet and another balcony that was connected to the living room. Ipinuwesto ko na ang mga gamit ko dahil bukas ay magsisimula na kaming magtrabaho.

"Good morning, everyone. I will be handling our company for the meantime, until the President gets back. I won't introduce myself since you already know me, this meeting will last for hours and I want you to report every document that I should know. You may start."

Si Mommy mismo ang nagpatawag ng meeting dahil gusto nya daw na wala akong makaligtaan sa mga bagay dahil mas marami daw ang kailangan kong asikasuhin dito since it is our main company. Nakapagbasa naman ako kagabi ng ibang documents na mula mismo kay Tita Viena dahil iyon daw ang mga hindi niya natapos na kailangan kong trabahuhin.
