A WEEK AFTER THE INCIDENT

(Name) started to feel weird symptoms, she noticed that she refused to eat anything that was cooked and preferred raw meat

"clearly, you're not" she said, sitting her down on a chair, she took out a wooden stick then held (Name)'s mouth open, her eyes widen in shock as she covered her mouth, dropping the stick in the process

Kanao looked over as Shinobu whispered in her ear, her face went from the normal look she had to a concerned yet terrified one

the girl touched her mouth when Shinobu spoke up

"(Name), remember last week when you fought against the demon? i remember seeing your wrist being bloody, i thought that you injured yourself so i wrapped your wrist in bandages, but i think that he was able to distribute some of his blood to you.."

she walked over to her and unwrapped her bandaged wrist, hoping the cut would've turned into a scab, but she saw that it had fully healed

silence lingered in the room while they stared at their nearly demon friend, Shinobu took in a deep breath before putting on another smile on her face

"don't worry, i'll try to make some kind of drug or liquid to slow down the process, if that's even possible..." she mumbled the last part then proceeded to look through some bottles on her shelves

Kanao sat beside her, laying her head on her shoulder as a sign of comfort while (Name) patted her head and watched Shinobu pick up some bottles placing them on a desk

night came around and the lavender eyed woman was standing before Ubuyashiki

"so, what you're telling me, is that you wish to work with Tamayo to cure (Last name)?"

"well, there's no cure, but to slow down the process of her turning into a demon rather than her turning into one now"

he thought for a moment, he and Tamayo are on good terms and (Name) has been a great help to the hashiras ever since and has been loyal to them
