Ayumu complained, she was on the back of her sister who was walking on the sidewalk, she obviously didn't know the way of the city, and her younger sister was getting sleepy
the things they noticed is that it's more modern, people weren't walking around in their kimonos the village men didn't have carts full of clothing, pots, or coal, the women were carrying big bags instead of the little ones
as she walked past a school she felt a menacing aura coming from it, slowly turning her head to look at the school, it looked so normal yet it felt unwelcoming and anyone who pretty much walked the same way as her
she dropped Ayumu who landed with a yelp and a thud then started to walk to the school gates
"Ayumu, stay here"
"wait what—?!"
(Name) hopped over the gates to immediately run into the building leaving her sister on the sidewalk, the presence is similar to a demon's when they're in their territory except more stronger
she ran up the stairs and came face to face with a fish-like mutant, there was no sign of it being human but it's body green was covered in big visible warts and bumps

it croaked with a high pitched tone accompanied by a faint lower one, it extended its webbed hands towards her walking ever so slightly
"oh? i know demons are ugly, but i didn't think they would be this ugly in this world" she unsheathed her sword then ran at the mutant who was blindly walking towards her
with one slash the sword smoothly cut through it spewing out blue blood instead of the normal blood the demons would, she ended up stumbling a bit as the mutant fell to the ground
looking back she noticed that she didn't have to use a breathing technique, normally they would use a skill for her not to lay a scratch on them but this one just let her kill them
looking out the window she decided to check if any of those creatures are there as well
Ayumu saw two boys approach, one with spikey black hair and the other with peach hair "you can't go in" she stated, sitting on the ground and crossing her arms over her chest
"actually, it's you who shouldn't go in, it's full of dangerous creatures" the black haired boy jumped over the gate, ignoring the girl and boy's protest
