The Hideout

Mal was extremely tired, last thing she remembered was crawling out from the basement and collapsing in the kitchen, she felt someone damping her  head with an ice-cold cloth "S-stop t-thats s-s-so cold" mal said swatting away the person hands from her face.

"Mali!! Your awake you scared me!"

She winced at how loud her annoying twin brother was, would it kill him to be quiet! she thought

"Shhhh, Malachi lower your voice your obviously being too loud" her other annoying brother said

"well sorry it's not my fault im happy that my little sister is alive"

"Well I wish you were dead" I muttered while trying to remove myself from the old couch but fell forward as my legs weren't able to support my weight.

"Relax you were out for two hours" malachy said

"Two hours I'm supposed to have breakfast ready by then, I don't want mother to feed me again the iron burns my throat and leaves my voice barley above a whisper".

Not noticing she was slowly losing air in her lungs

The whipping hurt, Memories of last night lesson came back to her.

*She should have killed you, you know she wanted too* the voice in her head said

Again another cold cloth was placed on her forehead "breathe" yes she just had to breathe it's that easy, she wished

"D-did mother stop by?" She wasn't too sure if she wanted to know the answer

"no, but I prepared her some breakfast if she did"

malachy did that, she never loved her brother more than she did right now.

She couldn't lie on her back because the burning sensation was Still lingering there hadie and hayden had already left muttering that they had to go do something but to be honest she wasn't listening.

"OUCH!!!!!"

"Stay still will It kill you that much."

Jay son of jafar my first and mal's most loyal friend couldn't stay still, he could have avoided his sprained hand if he didn't attempt to jump from a five story building to a two story rooftop honestly how they even became friends in the first place would be something she will never find out.

"Well Mal if you must know my dad's shop is low on supplies and he sent me to go and steal a few things, so far I've gotten everything except a lamp, he always puts that hoping I would find a genie but it's never gonna happen old man" Jay said with a bit of attitude.

"Just do what i would in your shoes"

Every time Jay brings home a lamp and there's no genie inside not that there would be he throws it out.

"Huh"

"Just go to the room were your dad stores all his useless junk, steal the lamp and give it to him everytime he wont notice its not like he goes in there anyways" I scoffed it's that obvious yet jay had never done it sometimes she felt like she was the only one with a brain.

"Oh your a genius Mali!" Jay said as the sudden realization hit him harder than his father ever did.

"Of course i am!, I always was"

"Ok! Ok! Wait for me right here I'm going to do a quick run and come back, then we can go to the hideout together"
