"So what do these books do?" Asked Jack

"In simple terms? The Book of Life takes life while the Book of Death brings the dead to life." Said Calavera

"Why would Grim want them?" Asked North rubbing his chin

"To take over the world?" Said Calavera like it was the most obvious thing

"OMG so all he needs is a child's soul!" Gasped Tooth

"Not really. Not just any child can touch the books." Calavera tried to explain

But no one was listening. They were arguing among themselves. As Calavera sigh Jack walked up to her.

"What do you man not any child? A child has a pure soul." Jack Asked

"Beautiful question. Which is true to a point. Not all children live in a world of rainbows and unicorns. It's sad but true. Pitch brought them nightmares. Where do you think he got his nightmares?" Calavera asked him. "The world is cruel. That is true. The younger the child the less likely reality tainted their souls."

"So the child has to be super young." Asked Jack

"The smallest of things can taint and scare a soul." Said Calavera. "Besides needing a pure soul. The books are in different locations. Protected by traps and other things. There are so many rules to follow when using them. It's not all black and white."

"Do you know who Grim needs?" Asked Jack

"That's a secret. I'm not worried about Grim. As of now he can't take the books." Said Calavera with a shrug. "Now what to do about them?"

Calavera waved her fans knocking the rest over.

"What was that for?!" Bunny grumbled getting up

"Calm down. It's not as easy as taking a child. I explained it all to Jack. No good night." Calavera told them as she disappeared into a sugar skull

As she stood back in the cemetery she looked to the moon. "What do I do now Manny? We both know Grim wants to use the books to bring Pitch back. Grim what happened to you?"
