Frederik POV:

He couldn't remember anything. All he could remember, was pain. It didn't seem to end. At some point, he thought he got used to pain, but it was some morphine given by surgeons. He remembered very little. He had passed out after giving the order to charge down the enemy, but he still remembered some things. He somewhat remembered Karl and Hans screaming at me to stay awake. He remembered someone dragging me through the cupula, Elli. I saw him dragging me to the tankette, and then driving me to the hospital. I heard doctors yelling:

"I need the emergency room now, shrapnel is all over his gut, if he doesn't get attention now, he will die. And at this I woke up.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Sun was shining through the curtains, there were some flowers next to the bed, on a drawer.

"Took you some time to wake up" said a voice

I looked, it was Elliet, we just called him Elli.

"On those training grounds, you did something... incredible. Most crews would lose the tank after losing something like their driver, yet, you stood you're ground" he said

"Sir, who were those other tankers?"

"Those other tankers?"

"Yes"

He let out a sigh "They were soviet spy's, they knew something was up, so they went here to Sweden, discovered the academy, and well, tried to kill you all before fleeing"

It took me some time for this to sink in. Then, there was commotion outside, and Karl, Hans, and Klaus, burst through the door.

Frederik: "Klaus... you are, you-"

Klaus: "Yes, I'm alive!"

Hans: "How do you feel?"

Frederik: "Good, I feel good"

I washed up, and got dressed into some pants, a casual shirt, and my coat.

As we walked out, News Reporters came out of nowhere and started yelling questions like: "Are tanks really needed in warefare?" and "Do you feel anything-" and it went on and on until a young reporter asked:

"Do you have anything to say to the soviets?"

"Actually, yes uhhhhh: Stalin you suck"

And the reporter actually wrote it down.

We then managed to get to the depot, and everyone was both excited, but also sad at the previous events. Everyone had been given leave, and I had just come out of the hospital.

We all walked through the depot until we found our tanks. They were all under cover, since the tanks were all new. Some had unveiled theirs already. Some were Landsverk L-60's, others Stridsvagn M/41's. We walked to our one, and it was big. We had no idea what it was. Each one of us grabbed a piece of the cover.

"Ready?" I asked

Everyone gave a nod

"3,2,1-" and we threw the cover off. We stood stunned. Others turned and gasped at the tank. It was huge. Its Frontal hull armour was sloped, a smooth turret, and a:
"An 75mm cannon..." said Karl

"It's a M/42..."

We all stood stunned.
