Pont De Arts

Adrien knew that he had seriously lucked out when it came to Marinette. After a year of knowing each other, he had finally worked up enough nerves to ask her out. And she had said yes! He couldn't believe it when it happened, but it did!

Now his sixteenth birthday was rapidly approaching and so was their one year anniversary. Adrien knew that he had to do something special for it. Adrien also knew that Marinette adored the Pont De Arts bridge and the tradition that came with it.

Thus, the idea was born.

"Hello, chaton." Ladybug greeted him when he arrived for patrol a few days before the anniversary.

"Hello, bugaboo. How are you?"

"Good! I spent today planning out my anniversary gift for my boyfriend."

"Oh? What do you have in mind?"

The news that Ladybug had a boyfriend might've made him jealous a few years ago, but her friendship was truly the greatest gift she could give him. Plus, the news had made him even more sure of his feelings for Marinette. Instead of feeling heartbroken, he only felt happiness for her.

"Well, he absolutely loves sweets, but he can never have them." Ladybug started to explain.

"We would get along excellently." Chat said.

"Probably." Ladybug chuckled. "Anyway, I was able to convince the bakery that he likes to give him an all you can eat feast for breakfast."

"Ooo sounds delicious!"

"Yeah, then we're gonna go on this horse and carriage ride." Ladybug sighed.

Chat Noir let out a whistle.

"That sounds expensive."

"It was, but it'll be worth it. He's a hopeless romantic and is always spoiling me. It's my turn to do something nice for him."

"I bet he'll love it."

"I hope so. What about you? You and your girlfriend's anniversary is coming up, right?"

"Yep."

"What do you have planned for her?"

"Well, she's gonna handle the morning and early afternoon, I've got the rest of the day. So, I'm going to start it off with a shopping spree to this mall that she really likes. And because she deserves the world, I'm going to pay for it all." He said.

"Wow, seriously Chat? Just how rich are you?" Ladybug asked.

"You really wanna know the answer to that?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I guess it doesn't really matter."

"Nope! Anyway, after that we're gonna try to find Andre and with any luck, it'll lead us to the Pont De Arts where I'll give her a lock and hopefully, she'll accept it. Then we can put our lock on the bridge." He said, dreamily.

"Aww! You're really in love, aren't you?"

"Yeah." He sighed. "She's an amazing Ladybug, everything I could ever want and more."
