Working my way up

The break was finally over, which sucked since I didn't want to go back to school. Why am I a hero again? "Hey y/n we're training again after school," "I'll be there late so it'll just be you and Nejire for a little bit," Ryo said. Oh brother..

I walked into class and gasped. Aizawa was in bandages. I didn't think the damage would be that bad. "The sports festival is coming up," "Which means that we'll be training really hard throughout the week," Aizawa explained. "Now that that's over with, put on your gym clothes and head to the arena,"

"I can't wait for the sports festival!" Chal said with a bit of aggression. Actually, throughout the past few days she's becoming more aggressive, is she opening up finally? "I can't wait to show the other heroes that i'm capable of saving others and also to be flashy with my quirk," Chal said. This is a completely different side of Chal, I love it. "I just want to be able to get into an agency," I said. That was a lie. I actually wanted to show my sister that I can surpass her. "I hope we get into the same agency," Chal whined. "Same!" "I don't want to be by myself," I complained.

We went to the arena. "Woah look at that beautiful lady!" Mineta said. "Her hair reminds me of snow," Kaminari added on. Hair like snow... "She's wearing the gym uniform, maybe a second or third year?" Another person said. White hair, upperclassmen...

I looked to see who it was. My heart sunk, it was my sister. Why is she here? "Hey y/n is that your sister?" Midoryia asked. Everyone looked at me. I nodded. "You're sister has big bo-" I gave Mineta a smack down before he could finish that sentence. "That's my sister you creep," I said.

"You may introduce yourself," Aizawa said. Ryo nodded. "I am [last name] Ryozaki, but just call me Ryo," She said. "I'm a second year in class 2-A and I'm here to help you train for the sports festival," Ryo said.

"Your quirks will give you several advantages throughout the events, so i'm here to train you on how to use your quirk to your advantage," Ryo said. "Everyone grab a partner and spar with eachother while we get to each of you," Aizawa said. "You know what i'm thinking?" Chal asked. I nodded. "Partners?" I asked. "Of course baby," Chal jokingly flirted.

We went to our spot and got ready to fight. "Be careful, you might get wet!" Chal said with an intimidating tone. "Ready when you are," I said, giving the energy back. I will admit, we were both acting a bit scary. A few people looked at us with concern.

Chal created water from the air and made them into balls in her hands. I got my fist and feet ready. "Lets try our best, but don't try too hard," Chal joked. "Hey we should look flashy to scare everyone," I said. Chal nodded in agreement. Chal and I gave off a menacing black aura, intimidating the people around us.

I ran to her using almost all of my power, making the floor beneath me crack. Chal turned her water spheres into sharp spears and launched them at me. I caught them and threw them back at her with a strong throw, making the wind around us blow harder. Chal stopped the spear and turned them into spheres again and threw them at me. I got hit, making me close my eyes.

It began to storm. Chal created wings with water and was floating behind the storm clouds. Her eyes were glowing white, which was really badass.

"So this is your true strength then," I yelled aggressively. We were both getting too into this fight. "Take this!" I yelled. I hit the ground, making me launch up into the air. I kicked her on the side of her waist, making her go flying. She hit the wall and cracked it in the process.

She flew back up and made all of the rain drop faster, turning the water into needles. God damn those hurt more than I thought! She went back down to the ground and used her water to shoot a beam at me. I dodged it and ran towards her really fast. We were running towards each other. I had my fists while she had her water.

Before we hit each other Chals quirl went away causing her to fall. I couldn't stop in time and tripped and hit the wall really hard to the point it almost broke. I looked around and saw that everyone was wet and covered in debris.

"You two need to chill out," Ryo said. "Y'all did good, but you both aren't in full of control nor are you aware of your surroundings," Aizawa scolded. "I'll fix it," Chal sighed. She took out all of the water out of everyone's clothes, instantly drying them. "You two are scary when y'all fight," Someone commented. Chal and I laughed at the situation.

Ryo walked up to Chal. "I see that you and my little sister are close," "You should join our mentoring training with me and some third years," Ryo suggested. "I'll join," Chal said. "Meet me after school for some training," "Class is over so I can't fight you two at once right now," Ryo sighed.

"That was so fun!" Chal said to me. "We should do that again sometime!" I smiled. We were walking back to class until Todoroki stopped us. "Y'all fought really good," Todoroki said in his usual monotone voice. "Do you want to spar with me next time?" Todoroki asked. "Sure!" "You're really strong so we want to go up against you," I said smiling. Todoroki nodded in a thank you way.

"I can't wait to see what's in store for us when we fight him!" Chal squealed. "This fight will be interesting,"

Class had ended. Chal and I walked to the arena. "I forgot it was just going to be Nejire today," I said. "Sorry i'm late!" Ryo yelled behind us. "Change of plans, i'll be here," Ryo said as she tried to catch her breath. "Ready girls?" Nejire asked.

Ryo got her sword out and spun it in a really cool way. Like- it reminded me of when Childe spun his weapon around while walking type of cool.

"We'll be working on finding new techniques," Ryo said. "I saw how you could name your water sharper by increasing the speed, that's pretty good," "But are you able to change the temperature of the water or push the atoms together to make it solid?" Ryo asked. Chal shook her head. "Wait, can you use the water in my blood and body to move my body?" Ryo asked. "I haven't tried," She responded. "Try it on me,"

Chal focused on the water in her body. She was only able to move her fingers up and down. "Try a bit harder," Ryo encouraged. Chal concentrated really hard. She threw Ryo on the ground by pulling her hand down. "I can't control how much force I use," Chal said. "No worries,"

"But.."

"That move can be seen as forbidden and evil," "It's pretty risky too, you could break someone's bones or take all of the fluids out of their body and kill them accidentally," Ryo said, putting her finger over her lips. "Use that move only when you need too, it's far to risky to be used as a move," "Don't show it to the public either," Ryo warned. "It's very powerful but if you were ever controlled by a villain or joined a villain team you could get a pretty high kill count with that," Ryo joked.

"Remember, power comes with responsibility!" Ryo said, nudging Chal in the arm. Chal gave a small smile.

"Now, let's try a machine gun technique," Nejire butted in. "maybe you can get a big ball of water and make it shoot fast water projectiles," "Not only is it long range," "But it can hit multiple people at once," Nejire said. "Try it!"

Chal made a huge ball of water and shot projectiles out of it. Chal started to smile. "This is very convenient!" Chal said happily. Her smile was contagious. It makes me happy to see her like that.

"Your turn Ryo," Nejire cheered. "You can try a leap smash combo," Ryo suggested. "And a stealth combo as well," Nejire added. "Let's try it,"

Ryo got her claymore out. "Aim for the blade,"

I jumped on her blade and leaped towards the wall and smashed the ground with my fists. Then I leaped off the wall and aimed a kick towards the blade.

"See you've got the hang of it!" Ryo smiled. "Now try the stealth attack on me," Nejire said. I used my speed to go behind Nejire and fake neck chopped her. "Woah you're so fast I thought you teleported!" Nejire said in awe.

Ryo practiced her sword combos on me, which were a bitch to dodge. She's so fast! Even Chal was worn out. Then Nejire did her energy combos and blasts.

"We all did great!" "I guess we can go home and wait for tommorow," Nejire said. We all agreed and headed home for the day.
