                                                                  Invitation

The second I took a step outside, I could feel my eye color grow a darker shade of black. My body grew weak, for it was ready to attack. I clenched my jaw as I swiftly rushed away from the school. Everything grew vivid and buzzing as I ran and entered far into the trees. I had to get far away as possible. I came to a stop---- that's when I spotted a dear.

I stayed quietly behind a tree and didn't take my eyes off it. I move swiftly but quietly behind another tree and moved a little closer to the dear. It looked up from eating the grass and I hid behind the tree. My legs and my teeth ready to jump and sink into whatever body part I can reach. I clench my jaw as I look at this creature. I walk a little closer to it.

It looked up and hurried off. I hurried and jumped out at it. My teeth sunk deep into its neck as I gnawed and chewed it. The deer stopped moving and kicking. I spat out a bone and wiped my mouth with my hand. My eyes grew back to their regular color and my teeth were back to normal. I looked at my hands and saw some blood from the deer on them. Though my face was clean, I couldn't let anyone see blood on my hands and have them wonder where it came from.

I rushed over to the stream nearby and washed my hands. I went to stand up and that's when I heard a familar voice. "Still trying to hide who you are, aren't you?"

I looked back and saw a boy with brown curly hair, gleaming light green eyes, skin that was pale olive--- but mostly pale, and was lean with rounded muscles. I sighed. The boy just laughed as he approached me.

"What are you doing out here Harry?" I asked him--- sounding rather annoyed by his appearance.

Harry just smiled with that cheeky grin on his face. I hated that. I don't see how it amuses him whenever I am annoyed. It's not that I hate him and he hates me, I just dislike him...that's all.

"I should be asking you the same thing" he hissed. I rolled my eyes.

At that moment, a boy with the same colored skin as Harry and I, with hair that was poorly swept to the side and had ocean green eyes, was lean with rounded muscles appeared. Louis. I snorted.

"What are you doing here Louis? You and Harry shouldn't even be here" I spat.

Louis just smirked and snorted. "And neither should you. You know humans hunt around here. Is that why you came out here? Or was it because you had enough issues at school."

I growled underneath my breath. These two always had to think I was trying to act human around the people I go to school with. Well, I do! And so do they!

"Look, acting normal is completely fine" said Harry, "what we really want to know is this. Who is Zayn Malik? And why are you thinking about him?"

How---who---how does he know that?! I thought.

"I can read your thoughts, remember?" prompted Harry. I snarled and looked at him. I hated the fact that he and Lume shared the same exact abilities. Well, Harry's ability is a little better than Lume's. She can just read minds---Harry can read minds and has visions of what is yet to come. Still, it irked me to my core.

"Stay out of my head" I hissed. "And he is none of your buisness."

Louis chuckled quietly as he approached me with his arms folded. "Oh really?" he asked as he stopped walking. He stood right infront of me and looked at me.
