Chapter 4: Training and New Abilities

Y/n's P.O.V

After summoning my scared gear, I examined it and tried to find out how do I use this thing besides punching people

Y/n: They said it's called the boosted gear so maybe boost my power?

Ddraig: Boost!

I step back surprised as a deep voice comes from the gauntlet and I get an idea

Y/n: Boost

Ddraig: Boost!

Okay now that I know what this thing is capable of, I continue to say boost two more times, and after I start focusing and transfer the power into my body as red outline covers my body and the wind around me starts picking up

Y/n: I can feel the power flowing through me. It's getting even stronger!

After I power up, I clench my hands around my sword tightly as I sliced downwards causing a shockwave nearly knocking me down but I handle my footing and stay standing.

Y/n: Woah that was awesome! Now that I know how to practice and train with this. I can start training to avenge Junpei and takedown, Jack.

Rias' P.O.V

I'm woken up by a loud shockwave as I quickly get up and see everyone else awake in the hallway.

Rias: Is everybody okay?

I look and see everyone nod but then I notice that Y/n isn't here

Rias: Wait where's Y/n?

Akeno: I don't know he wasn't there when I woke up

Rias: Why would you know if he was there or not Akeno?

Akeno: Because I was sleeping with him, his bed is just so much more comfortable than mine.

Rias: Fine everyone goes back to your rooms I think I know where Y/n is.

They all nod and walk back to their rooms except Akeno who walks back to Y/n's room but I'll deal with that later. I head downstairs and walk to the back as I look out the window and see Y/n doing push-ups

Rias: It's not even 6 he's up earlier than he's supposed to

As I look at him doing push-ups, I can't help but smile seeing his determination to get stronger. It makes me wonder how strong he'll become compared to Issei

Akeno: Ara~ Ara~ Rias are you checking out Y/n?~

I turn around and see Akeno standing there with a smirk but I feel my cheeks get a hotter cause of her statement

Rias: Akeno I thought I said to go back to bed

Akeno: I wanted to see why Y/n was up so early I guess I now know

She walks next to me as we both look back at Y/n who is now training with different weapons like a staff

Akeno: It's kinda funny

Rias: What's funny?

Akeno: How Iss- He would always complain about training but Y/n wakes up at 5 am to train

Rias: Akeno why don't you wanna say his name? It's been like this since he died

Akeno: Cause he's gone and not coming back Rias. He died right in front of us. But like I said on Friday it's been two weeks it's time we start moving on

Rias: Akeno that's easier said than done

Akeno: I know but it's not healthy to dwell in the past, I know you loved Issei we all did and some of us probably still do. Don't see moving on as a way of forgetting him but see it as a way of closure.
