INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the revised and edited version of my most treasured book "Milk, Sugar and Cocoa".❤☕
This is the story of three people who's stories intertwine and teach them lessons about themselves, each other and society. The fact that this is basically a multiple-story novel shows that this is gonna be a pretty bumpy ride, and a long one too. Nevertheless, it's one that's worth it. But I guess I'd say that anyway since I'm basically the author. But I think you'll agree with me if you read til the end!
Before we proceed, here's a rant nobody asked for obv it's your choice to skip or not!
I just want to point out that this is a two-in-one book, so there's part one and two. It was initially just one major story, but then I realised the first half of it had a different theme to the second half so I might as well separate it. Obviously, though, they're both still linked and are both still in the same book.
I also would like to thank each and every one of the readers from the OG MSC, who have come here to see how much it has improved. I promise you will not be disappointed. I'm also extremely thankful to the new readers who have decided to give this book a chance! Welcome humans, hehe. I will be sure to dedicate my chapters to every single person who supports this book and supported the old one too. But more acknowledgements at the end.
This story tackles a lot of things to do with mental health issues in our current society and other things that we go through as young people in the world. It therefore involves lots of triggers such as relations to anxiety, depression, violence, suicidal themes and blood. This is just a heads' up to any sensitive readers out there.
As this story focuses so much on these issues, I just want to tell any reader who can relate to some of them that you are not alone. Things can get really hard, and there are so many times when you feel like you're on the verge of giving up after all the things that you've been through. I get it. I know. But just know that there is a way to move forward. Helplines are all over the place, and some of them you can remain anonymous, so you don't have to worry about that. Also, there may be someone in your life that is willing to listen to every single thing you have to say, but you don't even realise. You just need to know where to look.
Lastly, even though this is an edited version, I'm still open to critique to make my story better but I don't tolerate general rude comments and you will be blocked if I see any of that here okay? Okay.
And without further ado, I now open the gates for you to enter the world of Milk, Sugar & Cocoa. ENJOY!
