your body was so cold when i wrapped my arms around you.

i was attempting to handle your sobs but i didn't know what to say,

i never knew what to say, right?

i hate myself so much for not saying anything that night.

i should have said it's going to be okay.

i should have made you hot choco.

i should have hugged you tighter.

i should have said that i was always gonna be by your side no matter what.

i should have smelt your hair for the last time.

because when i woke up, you had left.

left without a note, a word, a trace,

you just left.
