LORELEI
As we got home to our apartment, Alistair drove us first before taking Jamie to her house.
He helped me first to get the things inside because Loki was already inside. Jamie planned to follow him pero aalis na rin naman daw sila agad so she just sat inside Alistair's car. She even pouted in disappointment.
"Salamat at sinamahan niyo ako. Goodnight Lori!!"
I smiled at him.
Nang matapos, hinatid ko si Al hanggang sa labas ng gate. They bade us goodbye. I waited for them to vanished from my sight before I enter the apartment.
As I got inside the apartment, I saw Loki lying down on the sofa with his usual crossed arms and legs position with eyes closed.
Baka napagod.
Ako naman ay pumunta ng kusina para ayusin at ilagay sa refrigerator ang mga pinamili namin.
I also cooked dinner because we came home from the mall late so I just cooked the easy ones. I sauteed cornbeef with lots of onion. Sinamahan ko na rin ng patatas. Only two of us will eat it so I just cooked a can of cornbeef. I also fried chicken legs. Dalawa sa kanya at isa naman sa akin.
After cooking, I washed and wiped my hands with a dish cloth and set the table. I put a pair of plates, spoon and fork. I also spooned rice for both of us. I called my roommate's name but no one answered.
"Loki! Dinner is ready!!" I shouted for him to hear.
"Loki!?"
"Kakain na!"
Hearing nothing and still no one speaks. I went to the living room because that's the place where I last saw him. But I was surprised to see him asleep on the sofa. What's more surprising was he did that while his eyes are closed. Remember, he can sleep with his eyes open? Kaya pala walang naririnig nakatulog na pala.
It's still surprising to know that he's asleep with eyes closed. Naghihilik pa nga eh. He's indeed a fast sleeper.
Dati, kahit sa sofa lang siya nakaupo ay in-a-apply niya pa rin ang special skill niya. At hindi rin naman ako pumapasok sa room niya dahil alam kong masyado nang private iyon.
I approached him and gently slapped his cheeks. Naririnig ko rin ang mahinang pag-hilik niya.
Cute.
"Loki! Gising kakain na." I said.
"Hhmm." narinig kong ungol niya.
"Time to eat. Mamaya ka na matulog. The foods are getting cold."
"I badly want to sleep."
"No. You eat first."
Kinusot-kusot niya pa ang mata niya at bumalik ulit sa pagtulog.
"Loki naman eh!!"
Niyugyog ko na siya, but all I could hear was his growl.
Naisip ko bigla ang lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya para mapasunod ko siya.
"Kapag hindi ka kumain, hinding-hindi na kita papansinin." sabi ko at sinamaan siya ng tingin habang nakapamewang. Kahit alam ko namang hindi niya nakikita yon.
Still no response. 'Pag sinasabi ko naman sa kanya yon dati umaayos naman siya pero ngayon ayaw niya ulit.
