Chapter 7: The Bell Test

I walk to Ichiraku ramen and I still see Sakura on a bench whining about how she couldn't spend time with her 'SaSuKe-KuN'.

Obviously, I totally ignore her and walk away. But, she spots me and walks up to me with a glare. I mentally roll my eyes and send a fake grin towards her.

"Stay away from Sasuke-kun" she whispers and walks away.

"lol why? " I think to Kurama.

"God, I don't know the girl has always held a grudge to Naruto.."  replies Kurama.

"Eh, whatever. I can do whatever I desire. A bitch like her can't tell me what to do."  I say and close our mental link.

I walk to Ichiraku ramen and sit down at the bar. 

"One miso char siu please!" 

"Okay!"

A delicious bowl of ramen appeared on the table and I break my chopsticks.

"Thank you for the food!!!" I say and slurp up the ramen. 

I'm coming here everyday from now on.

I put the money on the table and leave.

"Thanks old man!" and I walk out.

I ate like 10 bowls this time. I walk back to my apartment and start to clean up cause it really smells like ramen and other shit.

"Kami, what the heck.." I say with a mask on. Luckily I have a mask. Otherwise I would be dead.

I finally finish after a good 2 hours and I smell like I'm dipped in spoiled milk and just took a dump dive.

"Bruh, I should take a shower now." and I strip my clothing and climb into the bathtub.

After a long warm bath and some clothes washing, I finally flop on my bed and think about my past life. How the heck do I remember it? I close my eyes and drift off to sleep into the dark sewer.

"Oi, Kurama. Don't you want to be freed from this musty old cage? You could leave whenever you want." I say and rip off the seal.

"Hashi, You'll die if I leave..but, I'll stay right now." says Kurama and he lays down in the spacious sewer.

"Kurama? I'm gonna make my mindscape into a forest so you and I feel more comfortable."  I say and think of a forest.

"Thanks I guess. You ain't that cold aren't you?" 

"I don't think so..anyways I think I should wake up now..bye!" and I vanish from my mindscape.

"Bye Hashi." I hear and our mental link ends..

"OH SHIT IT'S 11:40 ALREADY!" I shout and put on my orange outfit, grab a toast, and run out the door locking the door behind me.

"Oh wait..I shouldn't eat..whatever." I remember and continue to run to the training area.

When I arrive, It just turns 12:00.

"NARUTO-BAKA WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU? YOU TOOK SO LONG...WERE YOU EATING?" She shouts.

"No." I quickly say and wipe the breadcrumbs off my face.

"Tch. Whatever .. you're gonna throw up." says Sakura.

Sasuke just looked at me and gave me a small smile that wouldn't be identified unless you looked closely. I smile back and look away from Sakura in disgust.

Three hours had passed and Kakashi still hasn't arrived. Now I know that I could kill three hours everyday before coming to training.

"Yo!" said a voice and smoke appeared in front of us revealing a gray haired man with a mask.

"KAKASHI-SENSEI! WHERE WERE YOU! YOU TOOK SO LONG!" shouted Sakura and I just stared at the kid like she was weed.

"Oh! Sorry! A black cat crossed my path, you see." He said with a eye smile. "let's get to it shall we?"

Kakashi took out two bells.

"HEY! ISN'T THERE ONLY TWO BELLS AND THERES THREE OF US?"  asked/screamed Sakura.

"Hm...yeah! Whoever fails has to go back to the Academy!" said Kakashi. "Start!" 

And we scattered. Well, except me.

"You're pretty bold aren't you?" He asked.

"I don't need to hide." I reply. "I'll be back" 

I jump into the forest to find Sasuke.

"Psst! Hey! Sasuke! Oh there!"

"What."

"You're pretty dumb you know? Why is there two bells and three on the team and not two or one people on a team? Kami, it's because we need to use TEAMWORK!" I explain.

Sasuke eyed me for a bit and said, "Dobe, I didn't know you were smart but ok. Let's get Sakura."

In less than 3 minutes, we found Sakura wandering in the forest.

"Sakura, the point of this exercise is teamwork." I say.

"Hmph! I'm not gonna work with a baka like you! I'll only do it with Sasuke-kun!"

"I'm right here." said Sasuke as he walked out of he bushes.

"Oh! Sasuke-kun!!!" she squealed and we got to work.

"...and I will distract him." I finish. We nod and scatter.

"HEY! I'M TAKING YOU ON!" I shout and cringe at my mask.

I charge forward with a kunai in my hand but he disappears and I mentally smirk. Kunais and shurikens come towards Kakashi and Sakura runs at his blind spot to punch him. I take this chance and run towards the bells and try to grab them. 

Curse my small legs!

Kakashi shushins away and looks at us.

"Oh! Nice job! You pass!" He says.

I smile.

"What?!? BUT WE DIDN'T GET THE BELLS!" shouted Sakura.

"Yes, but remember these words. Those who break rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum." He says.

Whoever came up with that quote is a genius.

"Okay everyone. You're free to eat lunch." He says and shushins away taking out his orange book.

I walk towards the K.I.A stone and look at the first name on the stone. 'Hashirama Senju' I read and smile.

"What are you smiling at, Naruto-baka?" asks a voice.

"Oh..nothing."

"You know that is a stone for thse who were Killed in Action. Why the hell are you smiling?"

"I said nothing.." and I pick up my bento.

After some eating, I wrap my bento in the cloth and stare at the stone.

"Madara's not there.."  I think and frown.
