Lance's P.O.V.-

We were sitting around a table talking and Jane and Alex looked like they were into a good conversation. I used this as my opportunity to grab both Abigail and Mark with me.

"Hey! What the hell man?" Mark asked

"Oh my god you were serious?!?" Abigail asked her eyes lighting up. I might have told her about my plan since the talk Alex and I had a couple days ago.

"What's going on?" Mark asked

"Okay, so Alex and I were talking a couple of days ago, and it really got me thinking. We've known each other for more than a decade. Which is like basically our entire lives." I said

"The point is what. I think we've established that time after time after time for years" Mark said

"Anyways.... Alex and I were talking and this is probably absolutely crazy-" I said

"NO! It's not crazy, okay well maybe crazy cute and freaking adorabley sweet." Abigail said

"What the hell are you talking about?" Mark asked

"Oh gosh, sorry but your taking to long explaining Lance. He's gonna ask Alex to marry him." Abigail all but squeals at the end.

"Oh. OH. Dude. Have you seen the way he looks at you, if your worried about what he's gonna say he'd marry you in a heartbeat for the past like seven years." Mark said

"I- that's not what i'm worried about. First of all I've already talked to him about it but like I have no idea like how to do this in our.. situation if that makes sense." I said

"It suprisingly makes perfect sense." Mark said

"I just have zero clue about anything jewlery or stuff like that" I said

"You want to get it now? When are you  gonna ask him, but like give it to him? Oh my gosh this is so exciting!!" Abigail says acting like a kid who's just been told they can get whatever they want from a candy store.

"Shhh and come help me." I said

"Then why the hell did you bring me?" Mark said

"Duh, because I had to tell you and Alex has some things to work out with Sara. And you would be a distraction for him to just totally ignore her." I said

"She doesn't hate him you know. She just has went through a lot and took it out on people" Abigail said

"I know that but he doesn't," I said

"Now, let's go get you that ring to give your man" Abigail said laughing

"You seem as excited as I am about this" I said

"Duh, you have no idea how long literally everyone has been waiting for you two to get together but you were both oblivious idiots. Now your gonna get engaged and I get to help!" Abigail said

"I mean, this is exciting man. My best friends getting married. That's crazy. I mean we may have only met in middle school but y'all have been the best and you both deserve to be happy." Mark said

"Thanks Mark" I said

"Now, if your done being sappy before we even get a ring dry it and hurry up. You can go all mushy when he has a ring to even ask him." Abigail says

"Right, thanks. Let's go" I said

| 45 minutes later |

"Guys, it's been almost an hour." I said

"We'll find one." Abigail said

"What about this one?" Mark said pointing to a simple silver ring with a few small diamonds in the band.
