I like this one

We sit waiting for Rhodey to come out of the room with Pepper and Tony.

"Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day." Rhodey  says to us all.

"You guys take care of him and I'll bring him a Xorrian elixir when I come back." Carol says, starting to walk away.

"Where are you going?" Steve asks.

"To kill Thanos." Carol says not stopping.

We all follow after her.

"Hey. We usually work as a team here and, uh, between you and I, morales a little fragile." Natasha says.

"We realize up there is more your territory, but this our fight, too." Steve continues.

"We need to help Carol." I say to her, trying not to make it sound like a plea.

"You even know where he is?" Rhodey asks.

"I know people who might." Carol responds.

"Don't bother." Nebula speaks up from the other room. "I can tell you where Thanos is."

If she could tell us, why not say anything sooner?

"Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask where would we go once his plan was complete? And his answer was always the same. To the garden." Nebula says leaning her hands on the round table.

"That's cute." Rhodey says sarcastically. "Thanos has a retirement plan."

"So where is he?" Steve asks pacing around the room.

Rocket clicks a button and a hologram pops up. "When Thanos snapped his fingers Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No ones ever seen anything like it. Until two days ago on this planet."

"Thanos is there." Nebula says.

"He used the stones again." Natasha states leaning in to look at the holographic image.

"Hey, hey, hey. We'd be going in short handed, you know?" Banner cautions.

"Look, he's still got the stones so-" Rhodey starts.

Carol cuts him off, "So, let's get 'em. Use them to bring everyone back."

"Just like that?" Banner asks.

"Yeah. Just like that." Steve responds, his eyes not moving from the hologram.

"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this. I mean, we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try."

"If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Banner asks.

"Because before you didn't have me." Carol says.

"Hey, new girl. Everybody in this room is about that superhero life. And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodey asks her.

"There are a lot of other planets in the universe. And unfortunately they didn't have you guys." She says.

Thor gets up without saying a word and stands in front of her holding out his hand to summon his new axe. She doesn't flinch as it whizzes past her head. "I like this one."

"What else have we got to lose that we haven't already?" I say more than ask.

"Let's go get this son of a bitch." Steve says.
