The entrance door for the employees opened, revealing a rather short fox, carrying his bag with work clothes in it. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

"Hey Milo!" His ears twitched as he heard the familiar greeting. He turned around to see a tigress and a sergal, smiling down at him.

Before he could say anything, his cheeks were getting pinched by the sergal. "Aww, you're such a cute little guy!" The sergal said. "Right babe?"

"Yeah, he most definitely is!" The tigress agreed while chuckling.

"C'mon S-Shane, Lila... I'm not cute..." Milo pouted at them.

"Oh Milo, you're here." He turned around to see a pit bull leaning against the wall, smiling down at him.

"Payne, please tell them that I'm not cute!" Milo begged him.

"You and I both know that that's not true. You're just a cute, sweet little child." Payne replied.

"B-But I am 18! I am not a child!" The fox protested.

"Milo," Lila said. "You are like half a foot shorter than me, and I am 5'9''."

"Yeah, and you have a childlike innocence to you, I never heard you swear even once." Shane continued.

"Hey! I can swear as well!" Milo retorted.

"Oh really? Say one swear word right now." Payne dared him.

"Frick!" Milo said.

"Did I just hear Milo say 'Frick'?" A deep voice was heard behind them. All four of them turned around to see their manager, a buff tiger with a mean expression on his face almost 24/7.

"Uhh, no you didn't! You must be hearing things Jason!" Lila laughed nervously.

The tiger, Jason, sighed. "How many times do I have to tell you to not corrupt Milo? He's like our child, and you cannot just force someone like him to say a cuss word."

"But I am 18! I am not a child! I am a legal adult!" Milo protested.

"You are the youngest here by a mile. Also, you literally act like a child. And I do not mean it as an insult, actually it's such a breath of fresh air when hanging out with you." Jason replied.

"Hmph." Milo crossed his arms and looked away, pouting obviously.

"Aww, is the cute wittle Milo pouting?" A dragon said, entering into the room.

"Stop calling me cute! I am not cute at all!" Milo exclaimed.

The dragon sighed. "What you said right there was one of the most untrue things I have ever heard." She fished into her pocket to fetch out a lollipop. "Here," She said, handing it to Milo. "Take this."

Milo's eyes sparkled as he saw the lollipop. He really wanted it, however, he didn't really want to cost her money. It was a huge lollipop too, so it must have cost a considerable amount of money.

"N-no thanks," He replied.

"Please take it." She smiled. "I know you love lollipops, that's why I bought you this. You would make me very happy if you eat this!"

"O-okay..." He relented, and took the lollipop. He teared open the wrapper and put the candy in his mouth, moaning slightly at the sweet taste. His eyes were closed and his tail was wagging happily, and he had a happy smile on his face.

Jason just smiled and leaned against the counter, liking the atmosphere now.

"Hey Jason," The tiger turned around to look at Shane. "It's getting close to opening time, I think it's best if we get ready."
