Skeleton Walls

Akiko POV

I woke up feeling quite tired to an annoying alarm I rolled over to turn it off and saw that it was 6 am I groaned got up to get dressed I looked into my closet and saw a back T-shirt that I forgot existed I took it out and found some back jeans and a spikey black belt I threw them on and went into the bathroom to do my hair, I combed my dark green hair and put half of it into space buns feeling fancy I then took my spiky choker and put it on with an array of spiked chains and then putting on my favorite pair of earring that in blood-red words said "Fuck-Off"  I walked outside to go Train like usual I may be small but I'm not fucking weak I found my favorite sword whom was named "Skeleton Key" she was my favorite she was black and curved with a handle that was a skull I have made her myself and she has been my favorite since then I started getting ready to kick someone's ass when I saw Tetsu 

"TETSU!!!!! wanna fight pleaaasseeee!"

"sure" he chuckled getting his sword ready we both stood about 5 feet apart circling I was waiting for him to make the first move I could see his eyes scanning for a window when he lunged I evaded with ease stepping to the right 

"Your purpose was clever but you can see it in your eyes Tetsu"

"still sharp as ever Akiko"

"ehh I would like to think I have gotten more piercing"

"probably did all the years training"

I prevented him as he tried to catch a transom once again, 

I looked at him my eyes not showing my malicious intent anymore I had discovered how to hide it I quickly had gotten him and one 

I heard someone walk I looked over as fast as I could and saw the dragon king

"Nice job what was it again - ah yes Akiko," he said venom lacing his voice I had never taking a liking to him I looked at him 

"oh I'm sorry was it past 12 already? I must have lost track of time I apologize Sir Takahashi"

"Just Takahashi to you Akiko or should I say Aki-"

i froze he hadn't used that nickname in a long time I looked at him eyes widened  

"anyways we should get talking bout whatever shit you wanted to"

"walk and talk?"

I nodded getting ready to listen for some decently thought out trade or him wanting a horse or something

"I would like to court you"

I froze and he stopped walking 

"i-i-i What?"

"I think we should marry"

"I know dumbass let me process this"

"what got your head in so many books but you cant understand feelings"

"SHUT UP"

i yelled quite rudely i hadn't meant to but I did I sat down nest to The tree we had always used to play at.

"Akiko, you ok?"

"IM fine Takahashi"

"you sure? I know you like someone else, however in the long run it would work for the kingdoms great"

"I know that's why I'm thinking and besides I've never trivaled things such as love, or heirs, However, it would be great for the kingdom and i would do anything for the kingdom"

"Aki If you don't like me we don't need to marry"

"I don't know if I even like anyone Hashi"

"well then how about for one month we see if you like me or not?"

"i-I-I I guess we could do that"

"Aki,-"

"what'

he sighed and looked at me

"Aki, can I try something?"

I nodded not knowing what was about to happen

"ok lose your eyes"

"o-oh ok"

I closed my eyes and felt lips touch mine and a hand meet my hair he kissed me and I had kissed back the kiss had lasted for a short period of time, I felt butterflies in my stomach Hashi looked at me grinning I stared back absent-mindedly we sat and I started to doze off

Takahashi POV

Aki fell asleep on my shoulder his tail swishing back and forth gently as if he was on alert in his sleep his hands covered his face and h curled up into a ball, he never slept like that it was strange but so was Aki, then he started whispering and I froze unsure of what to do so I decided to wake him up

"n-n-no p-p-plea-s-se don't hit me again-n si-r-r"

i shook him awake

"Aki, what the hell was that you fell asleep and started whimpering and asking someone not to hit you are you ok? whos hurting you? do you need help?"

"IM fine hashi"

he looked to the side 

"you lying you look to the side when you lie."

"hashi can't we talk later don't you have something to do"

"yeah getting you ready to stay over for a month remember?"

"oh yeah that's happening"

we stood up to get to Aki's room I picked him up and took him because I felt like it, it was a silent walk and you could sense the tension in the air
