A question haunts me:
Seek the light or seek the respite offered by the darkness?
The light makes it stick close, within clawing grasp
The darkness simply provides it growth
With intensity, with a biting presence
Concealed, I feel it around
Not stalking like a shadow
My dilemma implicates jealousy
And necessitates envy
