A Forecast of Doom

Nimble gladiator with arms extended from lip to lip,
Masterfully swinging a heart of spades.
She stabbed the sorrow from fawns jumping across this hideous pit,
Now see no shiny rays, no cheery glades,
Just bleeding brothers blaring loudly.

Insatiable hunger rising drip for drip,
Blackness from her many sins,
Slowly seeped into her delicate skin.
Many devils came and many devils skewered,
Doom for the daredevils who pursue her.

The racing hero paid no heed and run,
With a leap for glory, he braced to be free.
Foretold whines and cries, he fears none,
Radioactivity sunk his dreams into a wretched sea.
The evil in his mind, he could not outrun.

A soft plunge into the abyss,
Drooling jaws snapped shut around,
Shrieked praise and admiration for this monster.
Licking lips, shredded and torn,
I was always this beautiful demon's fawn.
