Chapter five | insta live

Ever since that day durk been coming with me to the studio every time, not like I'm complaining. He pushes me to do better.

I turned the mike off and walked out of the booth being met with the sound of clapping " its just as good as the first time now stop stressing" durk said

I sighed shrugging " im tryna do better then just good" i said

Durk laughed " got someone to impress?" He asked

I smiled trying not to laugh " besides thousands of fans, you of course" i said

Durk looked at me supprised for a second but quickly shook it away smiling " im honered, anyway its gotta be great getting to do something you enjoy" he said

I nodded " yeah, fasho.. What you do?" I asked

Durk rubbed the back of his neck shrugging " i mean i want to rap, but everyone in our situation wanted to rap, that dosent mean they get to." He said

I shook my head " nah durkio. Its to late for that, i gotta hear this"  i said grabbing his hand pulling him towards the booth

Durk quickly shook his head " nah! Von i cant" he said

I laughed " i can't hear you" i said gently pushing him into the booth and closing the door

I started looking for a beat and once i found one i thought would work i smiled looking up at him. Durk sighed finally giving in and he started to freestyle. I couldnt help but smile cause i knew talent when i heard it,

As he finished and walked out of the booth I started clapping " see i told you" i said

Durk smiled looking up at me " it was good?" He asked

I nodded smiling " don't doubt yourself folk" i said

Durk stared up at me for a second, i watched his eyes move down to my lips before he looked away

I was quiet for a second but brushed it away by laughing " stop being so nervous.. Im finna go live" i said

Durk nodded smiling " ight bet" he said sitting down at the table

I pulled my phone out setting it up so it was facing both of us and pressed start live " give it a second" I said

And just a second later people were already joining the live and talking about Durk.

I looked over at durk who seemed sorta flustered " you sure you okay?"i asked

Durk nodded " I'm fine" he said but I could tell he was nervous

I smiled looking at the camera " this my homie durkio, d.roy, single... Ladies" I joked winking at the camera

durk rubbed the back of his neck looking at me making me laugh, i had never seen someone so camera shy in my life. Besides it wasn't like he had a reason to be, the girls were already going crazy in the comments. Although Something about that made me feel sick.
