Luka could see that she was uncomfortable where they were so they took off to the bridge 
"is everything alright?" "Hmm?- O-oh yeah sure" "you're not being honest, is there anything you want to talk about?" 

"yeah...."

"yeah?" she gulped before continuing "well, you see, I have this responsibility i cant neglect, and because of that i cant spend time with anyone, i cant hangout with my friends, i cant even have a normal life!" she tried not to cry but her overwhelming responsibilities came crashing down she didnt know what to do she found herself crying in Luka's arms again. Luka's heart ached for the bluenette in his arms, he had never seen her cry like this.

"Luka, I dont know what to do with myself!"  
"its alright Marinette, I'll be here for you " He consoled his voice full of sincerity, she looked up to look at him to see his eyes, his beautiful blue eye's they made her heart melt

but they were different

they were red and puffy, like he'd been crying "L-Luka are you okay" and thats when she realized how close their faces were their lips inches apart she could feel his minty breath on her lips, she was eager to close the gap until she heard.....

"ITS LUKA STONE!" yelled a girl out there was a crowd of people following them "WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND!" Marinette's heart skipped a beat as she heard those words, Luka simply grabbed her arm and run off with her to a place where they were alone alone

once they reached their destination, it was...

a Lake?
"L-Luka"  "yeah, need anything" "are you okay, you look like you were just crying" Luka was taken back by the question he really didnt want to tell her, and if he did what was he gonna say   'oh well you see I'm still traumatized and not over the break up all's god yeah' there was no way he was going to say that to her "Me, cry? PFFFT IVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY!!" he was clearly lying at this point and Marinette could see it, she could tell a fake lie from a real one 

"Luka, I'm serious" she was just worried at this point, this really got her thinking about how many times he had to lie telling people he was okay, that he could handle it, he always put other people above him, he never gave himself the break he needed

Marinette's POV

Wait, it kind of felt the way I felt after being guardian, and the way he looked so HOo- no i cant think this way, he's just my friend, just a friend, right?
