"So where are we off too?" Chloe quickly asked as her and mason set off in his car
"That my dear Chloe is a secret that you will find out in possible 30 minutes" he knew the girl was impatient and always wanted to know where she was going but for once mason wasn't about to tell her.
"I hate you sometimes" she replied while huffing and puffing about having to wait
"You're always so nice to me chlo" he said while putting a hand on his heart
"Oh shut up you idiot" the girl joked around.
Moments like this made her like mason a little bit more which was risky as no one had confessed anything yet, but both of them were hoping that would change soon.
"Are we there yet?"
"No, you literally asked that 3 minutes ago Chloe" mason said getting a little bit fed up with how many times she had asked if they made it to their finally destination.
"Yeah and? I'm getting impatient" she whined as it seemed like they were no closer
"We'll be there in like 10 minutes"
From this moment onwards the lair sat in a comfortable silence with slight conversations popping up here and there.
"Okay we're pulling up now" mason finally announced
What Chloe saw was something she wasn't expecting to say the least and it truly made her lost for words.
"What I-" the girl could hardly get a sentence out
"Cant catch your tongue, love?" He sniggered while going round to open the car door for her
The young girl couldn't believe that mason had taken her to the Shard, she understood that it was an expensive restaurant and had never been in her life.
"Mase I don't know what to say" the girl finally managed to finish a sentence
"How about nothing, let's just enjoy your birthday and not think about stuff" he said as he pulled her out of the car

The vibe as they entered the fact building was nothing like Chloe had experienced before, sure mason might of with all the time her spends away with Chelsea but this young girl hadn't and all of this was new to her.
She wondered what level they would be going up to but didn't think too much about it until the lift dinged and they were right at the top of the Shard.
"Don't be afraid of heights not chlo, we have to eat here" mason said while dragging the girl out of the lift
"I'm not afraid you idiot just overwhelmed" she responded while slightly hitting the footballer
"Well don't be darling, this is all about fine dining" he laughed as they both walked over to their table sitting out and looking over London Bridge
"Fine dining my ass" she muttered while following mason over to their table.

The meal being nice was an understatement it was probably one of the best meals both of them have ever had
"You know I can't thank you enough mase, this has been one of the best birthdays of my life" she blushed when she said this but the lighting was too dark to really see
"I'm glad you enjoyed the meal chlo, you deserve it after all"
"You are coming tonight right?" The girl wishing he would say yes as she maybe enjoyed spending time with him a little too much.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world, love. You of all people know that" when he said this she giggled and got butterfly's in her stomach.
What worried her the most was that mason was a hard person to read and she couldn't understand the signs he was giving her, she just wanted him to be upfront and tell her how he really felt towards the girl.
