She gets quieter.
Nobody notices.
She laughs less.
Nobody notices.
Her dark circles will get darker.
She is just tired.
Her sleeves are getting longer.
She's just cold.
She get's thinner.
Nobody notices.
She eats less.
She's just not hungry.
The music gets louder, drowns out her thoughts, numbs her mind.
She's just trying out new things.
Nobody notices her tears.
Nobody notices how she loses herself in silence so as not to bother others.
So she says it's all okay.
And nobody notices.
Her lies.
Her pain.
Nobody notices anything.
Until it's too late.
And then everyone wonders why nobody noticed anything ...
