She tried to fall asleep but couldn't.
All her mind would do is think of Kol.
The night they spent together.

'Ugh,'  she groaned.
While she was tossing and turning in her bed, she heard a forby sound.
At first her mind told her that it was Kol.
She waited again but she didn't hear any other sound.

"Kol?" she called out but there was no response.

"Just show yourself," she said swinging her legs across the bed.
Wearing her robe she flicked the lights.
Her eyes moved around the room.
Looking for any possible strange behavior.

'Whosh'

She heard something.
This time she was sure it wasn't her mind playing tricks on her.
"Kol stop it your going to make me cry," she said sarcastically.
If it was Kol he would stop but he didn't.
She settled on one thing, she would scream for help.

Before sho could scream hand wrapped around her mouth stopping her from making any further sounds.

"Don't make a sound," the man said in a husky voice.
The he smelled, made her remember the blonde man.
She muffled in his hold nodding.

"I'm not going to hurt you," he said releasing her.
Slowly she turned to look at him.
Shock was written all over her face as she glanced at him.
It was him.
The blonde man he was chasing after before getting saved by Kol.

"It's you, what are you doing here?" she asked walking towards the door, she placed her ear on the wooden door.

"Don't worry, they are both asleep snoring in fact," he said in a thick British accent.
His accent wasn't as Kol's.
His was much powerful.
It showed that he was at the top of the line.

"Your Kol's brother,"she said coming into realization.

"Older brother actually," he said taking a seat on her bed.

"So where is Kol?" she asked.

"He's taking a nap" he answered.

"What are you doing here?" she continued.

"I came to visit you, after hearing your relationship with my brother, I always protect him," he answered.

"What's your name," she continued asking.

"You can call me Klaus," he said with an intimidating voice.

"So Klaus, what did you particularly want to know about me," she asked sitting next to him.
Now she only saw him as a brother.

"I don't want my brother's heart to get broken," he easily lied. "He's my little brother and judging to what I have seen, he's very drawn to you," he continued.

"I understand, but I love your brother, I would never hurt him." Claire said .
Hearing her talk this way about his brother stung Klaus in the heart.

"Do you know how much it will hurt him, when he leaves you behind," Klaus trailed off.

"I'm sorry what are you implying?" she asked standing up.

"Oh don't get me wrong, but your human and he's a vampire, love is a vampire's greatest weakness, " he continued.

"I think you should leave," she said gesturing to the opened window.

"I didn't mean to upset you," he said faking a sorry face.

"Don't, you meant to upset me, now just leave me alone," she said grabbing a handful of her hair.

"Fine, I'll go away, but don't say I didn't warn you," he said jumping of the window.
Falling her whole body on her bed, she sighed.
Kol did once mention that he had an evil brother who enjoyed seeing other people's misery.
This was definitely him.
Tucking herself inside her sheets she quickly drifted off to sleep.
