"You sure you can handle it?"
"Most definitely, don't worry about it" you said, holding your son in your arms, he was fiddling with the hem of your shirt while babbling out loud, "The last time you said that he almost fell off the bed" Annie said
you laughed then gave your wife a kiss, "Don't worry about it, after all, i'm his mom too"
"Alright then, I guess I'll get going now" Annie grabbed the car keys, "bye, baby" she kissed your son's forehead "bye, other baby" she teased then kissed you
"See you, love" you waved at eachother then went back once she was out of sight, you sat down and lifted your baby in air, "We're gonna have a good time today, little L/n"
You gently sat him down on your lap and turned the tv on, you started watching a movie that was scary, but not too scary for him to watch. A few minutes passed then he started squirming and whining, "Oh, sorry buddy mommy won't watch that again, sorry" you try to calm him down, but he cries louder
You panicked and placed his head on your shoulder, you start patting, cradling and shooshing him but he just cries even louder, "It's alright, it's okay, please don't cry"
You put him down on the couch and ran fast to the kitchen and made your son a bottle of milk, you ran back and fed him the bottle
he calmed down and started drinking, his hand clinged on to your hands as you just watched, after he finished the bottle he was sound asleep in your arms
his mouth open and his hands on his chest, you gently laid him down on your chest, and sooner or later your eyelids got heavier and heavier each blink and you fell asleep too
Later, Annie got home and parked the car and grabbed the groceries out of the trunk, she unlocked the door expecting Y/n to be behind the door to scare her, she slammed the door open and peered into the house, "I'm home!"
No response, she looked around then saw Y/n sleeping on the couch, with your little baby on your chest, Annie sat beside you and took a photo of the scene. She picked the baby up trying her best to not your son up, "Hey sleepyhead, i'm home" she shook you gently
You sat up rubbing your eyes before staring back at Annie, "When did you get here?", "Just now, you can help me with the groceries if you want" you stood up and stretched
Annie looked up at you then your baby, "should i put him in his crib?" she asked while the baby was peacefully sleeping on her shoulder
"Aw, but he looks so cute in your arms" you caressed his soft cheek, "he's lucky having a parent like you, you know?" you said
"Really now?" Annie said sarcastically, "If it weren't for me" you said. Annie wanted to kiss you right then and there but your baby started rubbing his face, he rubbed his face against Annie's shoulder then woke up with a disoriented expression on his face
"Good morning sleepyhead two" Annie smiled at him. He smiled back and reached out for you, you take him into your arms and head to the kitchen, "What's this?" Y/n asked pulling out the donuts Annie bought, "Ah, I bought it for us"
Y/n and the baby stare at the strawberry and chocolate frosted donuts with their mouths open, "Woah this looks good, doesn't it?" the baby hums back, Annie laughed before you and her went to the living room to watch tv
The rest of the night was peace and quiet, watching tv, eating then falling asleep together on the couch
