I've never believed in ghosts. Never wanted to. The supernatural always lived in the unbelievable part of my mind, the section I was always avoiding. It's not that I lived in fear of the dead, I just didn't believe in them living their lives after death. The day I believe in ghost will be the day I die.
Sadly, that day did come. The day that death greeted me with open arms.
But I didn't want to go.
I didn't want to live in the shadows and the darkness. Belonging to those who lurk unseen.
But they wanted me dead. Needed me dead. Hated me for unbelieving their existence.
And the dead always got what they wanted.
