It was your turn to walk Tohru home from work today. Once making it home, you walk into the main room only to find Rin there. She was in the floor pail as a ghost.

She looked up meeting your room eyes, Immediately becoming more scared than she already was.

"What's wrong?" Tohru asked, walking closer.

"Don't yell at me." Rin mumbled over and over again, shaking in fear. "Please mama, papa, don't yell at me."

"Oh good you're awake!"

You and Tohru brought Rin up to the room you guys shared. You guys called Hatori to come and check on her, not knowing what else to do. She transformed into a horse a little after passing out so you couldn't have taken her to the hospital. Tohru left to get Hatori and Shigure, letting them know Rin is awake.

The men came up to check on the sick girl. After telling her what happened and how she has to stay here, she flipped out.

"No! I'm not going to a hospital! I hate them!" Rin gets up trying to leave the room but fails being held back by Hatori.

"Rin you have to calm down." The man told her. He helps her lie back down in the bed. When they were sure she wasn't going to run away again, they left the room. Leaving you, Tohru and Rin.

"We'll be sleeping um- elsewhere, and i brought up some water-"

"Stop it. You're trying to break the curse aren't you? That's why you went to Kazuma's to ask about it. Why are you bothering? You pity us? You pity the Zodiac freaks?!" Rin cut you off. We're did this anger come from? And why is she taking it out on you? Then it hit you.

"You're trying to break the curse. Aren't you?" You asked the girl.

"I said stay out of it!"

"Sorry but I won't. I know I'm not part of the family. And yea it really isn't any of my business, but I want to help!"

"Shut up! Can you stop!?"

The two of you start getting louder, yelling at one another. Tohru was in the room not knowing what to do. It was becoming so loud the boys came out of their rooms standing in the hallway, confused. Rin gets up off the bed, running out the room.

"Isuzu!" Tohru shouts running after. You on the other hand stand by the bedroom door watching them run out.

They make it to the driveway collapsing on the floor, Rin hugging Tohru. The boys made it down stairs to watch. Kyo having to drag you with them.

The next everyone acted like nothing happened. Rin ended up in the hospital again. You guys just got done eating dinner, talking.

"Is it true there's going to be a bonfire at the school festival?" Tohru asked cleaning up.

"Sadly it's just a rumor." Yuki answered.

"So the culture festival is coming up again?" Shigure turned towards Yuki.

"Oh no, we have some time. I'm just planning ahead because of the exam."

"Mr. Student president."

You started to zone out. Things started to hit you like a bullet. Everything started to make sense. You did want to break the cures. You did feel bad for the zodiacs. But did you want to break the curse out of pity. You loved Kyo, you really did but did you want to break the curse out of your selfishness?

Think of it this way; If you break the cures, Kyo wouldn't be locked up. If he's not locked up you get to spend more time with him, love him. That was selfish and you knew it.

You knew it was selfish, yet couldn't stop yourself from wanting to do it.

You were in your second year of high school, only one year left till he was locked up. It pained you to think about it. Ever since you found out you have been trying to not think about it, pushing it to the back of your mind.

You couldn't do that anymore

The clock was ticking. Time was running out.

Where would you even begin? You can't just ask questions. It was a touchy subject and you knew that.

The subject really didn't have anything to do with you. You weren't a Sohma. You were an outsider. You couldn't forget that.

"I'm going to bed." You said getting up ignoring that stare. You walk up the steeps, knees weak. This was all too real.

Who knew all this would happen? Your plan of growing old with your love came to end. Your thoughts were taking over your mind. Your head was spinning just thinking about everything. Without even releasing, had completely broken down.

'One year y/n. One year left.'
