Bertolt brought his hand close to his mouth, before biting hard enough to break the skin.

Everything was peaceful right now within the walls, everyone was starting to go home, and see their families. The sun was setting, kids were running and playing together, mothers were making dinner.
All of a sudden, a bright flash, and what sounded like power surging, sounded throughout the entire town. Anyone outside their homes, immediately stopped what they were doing, and looked to where the sound came from.
All men, and some women, ran to where it happened, concerned something was happening.

Bertolt bit into his hand, before lighting hit him. He felt the flesh of the Colossal Titan start to form around him, everything going blank for a second. Before he knew it, he was up in the sky, looking over the wall, heat encasing his entire body. His Titan's hand was gripping onto the top of the wall, so he pulled himself up, revealing his face to petrified Garrison soldiers atop the wall.
Bertolt could see everything from here, the people down below looked like mere ants to him... he couldn't wait to crush them. The Devils of Paradis had to die, and then they'd be awarded back at Marley.
The town on the other hand had gone silent for a moment, taking in exactly what they were seeing. A huge humanoid Titan, without skin, was now towering over the very thing they'd been relying on for protection.
