"CANNONBALL COMPETITION!" Y/n suggested, her and Megumi standing at the edge of the dimly lit pool.
"Cannonball?"
"Yeah. You hug your knees to your chest, jump in—"
"I know what a cannonball is, y/n." He squinted at her, pressing his lips together to keep him from smiling.
"Then let's try it! You wanna go first?"
"...You can go. I think I need a demonstration."
Y/n nodded, walking closer to the edge of the pool. "Okay, first, you make sure no one is in the pool...So far, no one is in the pool."
"We're the only ones here, y/n." She heard Megumi call out, but his voice sounded to be a bit farther away than before.
"Better safe than sorry! Okay, then, you wanna walk a few feet away from the pool, so you can get a running head—" Y/n turned back around, before noticing that Megumi was suddenly charging at her. "—START!!" She yelped, Megumi grabbing her by the waist and picking her up, holding her to his chest as they fell into the pool.
Y/n squeezed her eyes shut, making contact with the warm water. All she could hear was bubbles from the water and her aggressive kicking. She felt Megumi's arm slide around her waist, him moving his body so he was in front of her.
