I was playing my guitar and there was a knock on my door. I saw Lydia "What." I said while looking up.

She looked like she'd just been crying, "My mom let me um...she let me read the notes your mother left."

Now I see why she was crying.

"Your mom was really nice to me. She didn't know me from a can of paint but I'm...there wasn't one note where she didn't check on me."

I put my guitar down, "Yeah. That was my mom. A woman who cares for everyone, even those who ran her name through shit."

"India I didn't know-" I cut her off, "What does that have to do with anything Lydia!"

She got quiet. "Over a guy. A single guy. As a matter of fact you hated me as soon as I walked in the door. You said I'd break up your family just for being here. Why would I leave a broken family to break up a different one."

I was so angry right now. I took a deep breath "Lydia we both have had different lives with different childhoods. But we were both raised by kindhearted women." She glanced at the ground

"You never gave me the time of day and I won't forgive you for that." She did a soft nod.

"Well I'm going down to Chicago as soon as the school year ends." I was confused, "why?"

She sighed softly "I was wrong and I don't expect you to forgive me. But I want to go apologize to your mother personally."

I sighed, "If you're serious about that...we can start over." She smiled softly, "I'm serious and I'm genuinely sorry India. You aren't a hoe. And I'll let everyone at school know as well."

I let out a deep sigh, "Fine. We can start over. But I can't promise that you'll date one of the boys. They all have weird taste in girls."

She waved me off, "It's fine." She then got quiet. "Are you really crushing on the principal."

I scoffed, "Lydia she doesn't even know that she's my girlfriend yet." Lydia giggled softly "Don't get your head bitten off."

She left and I closed the door. I went to my window with my guitar I started playing the melody to 'Are you Lonesome Tonight?' by Elvis Presley.

"Are you lonesome tonight. Do you miss me tonight? Are you sorry we drifted apart? Does your memory stray to a brighter sunny day, when I kissed you and called you sweetheart?" I sang softly, loud enough so she could hear me.

And it clearly worked because she opened her window.

I continued to sing the song to her until she said, "What do you want from me." I stopped playing, "Just-just a crumb of pussy."

I pursed out my bottom lip and she said, "Sing it to me again first. From the beginning." I heard my door open and I saw Mrs. Clark .

"India, is that you singing?" I then said, "Mrs. Clark I'm trying to serenade someone here." She nodded and whispered "Sorry"

She left and I sang the whole song to her. After I finished I put the guitar behind next to my desk.

"Can I give you some head, please." She hmm'd "Is that all you're going to do?" She asked.

I fiddled my thumbs, "Well it's close to 7 right now. And I figured if I come over I could lay you out until...11 or midnight. And then I could climb back in my window."

She stared at me. "It was going to be the same kind of thing though. Me going down and then coming back up right before your reach your climax. Fingering you until you squirt. Going back down to clean up my mess coming back up to taste the rest of you. Rinse and repeat...water break every now and then."

She nodded softly, "The door is unlocked, I just don't know why you're still sitting there." I climbed down the side of the house. I went to her place and a guy was knocking on the door.

"Hello?" I said. He looked at me and said "Hi, yes, is Imani home." I was super confused and then the door opened.

She looked at him and I could see a look of dread, "Imani, I missed you." He kissed her and I could feel myself go pale.

She then said, "Javier what are you doing here."

He had flowers in his hand "I had to see you again. The last time was amazing. I wanted to know if I could take you out again."

She knew she fucked up. "India can you come in for two seconds please"

I patted his back, "I'm rooting for you Javier. That was your box of condoms you left right?"

He looked confused "How did you know?" I nodded softly and walked off. I wanted to punch a wall.
