Chapter two

Afterlife
Days after the incident cal had apologised for his actions and I forgave him.

Today we found out Skye a recent inhuman was locked up in a house so Gordon went to get her and once they returned I placed Skye on a bed and put some pins in her body.

Three days later I was healing her with my voice when she awoke. She looked around confused and stopped when she saw me.

"Who are you? Where am I?" She asked trying to move

"I would not move I'm healing you as we speak your home where you asked Gordon to take you. Your at a place full off people like you with gifts" I smiled

I began to take out the pins "my friend Lincoln will be here soon to help you he'll be your transitioner"

"Who are you?" Skye asked taking in my appearance.

"My name is Nova I'm like you a person with a gift" after I had finished removing the pins I left her to get dressed.

Once she was out I smiled and took her around afterlife as a tour. She smiled as she took in the sight off the china like town.

"What's your power?" Skye asked me finally and I smiled

"I can manipulate any man, woman and animal with my voice I can heal others with my voice and I can teleport I can also connect telepathically with people. What about you?"

"I can make earthquakes it's more of a curse" Skye sighed

"It's not a gift is a part off you a beautiful thing has happened it's like magic it should not be removed or avoided I think you'll find happiness here, a home we won't hurt or hunt you"

She nodded as Lincoln walked up to us and Skye followed him Zara met me and stood watching them go

"Who is she?" Zara asked

"Her name is Skye a new inhuman she jumped the line and did it the old way"

"Woah what's her gift?"

"Vibrations"

After Skye had settled in Lincoln brought her to meet me and Zara in the food hall.

"Skye,Lincoln over here!" I shouted and they came and joined us we jumped into our usual conversations while Skye joined in and I could tell she felt at home.

"So where do you guys come from?" Skye asked

"Well my parents live in England and I'm here they are not one of us I grew up there until I came to afterlife and since then it's been my home I've always had an easy upbringing" Zara told her

"My parents are sadly dead but I'm happy here at afterlife" Lincoln told her

"What about you Nova"

I didn't trust easily but since I knew the relationship between her and Jiaying I knew I could

"I was taken from my parents as a baby I was tortured for years by HYDRA I found afterlife and since then I've been home I am still looking for my parents"

I was thrown into the dark memory.

I was tied down on the rough metal bed with leather binds covering my ankles and wrists.

I was too weak to lift my head as the moved the bed down the hall to the operating room. They wanted to find something, something I didn't have and they were killing me looking for it.

I knew I would die there and I would never meet my biological mother even if she was evil. Was she looking for me? Would she save me?

HYDRA knew who my parents were as they would taunt me with the news. Maybe that's why they were so hard on me.
