Lost and found

Chapter four

I woke up that morning in the guest room that skyes friends had gave me and Zara.

I sighed and got out of the bed getting dressed and headed outside to the kitchen area.

Skye walked into the room and smiled.

"Did May talk to you last night?" She asked me finally.

"Yeah she told me.....we talked it out" I nodded at her and she smiled

"She was so happy last night I've never seen her smile so much"

I laughed and finished making my milk tea. I walked into the open space where we could do exercise and training.

I placed my mat down and stretched ready to go into more advanced yoga positions.

I had been doing this a while when I was balancing on one hand with my legs in the splits. I heard someone walk in.

They stopped and were silent. I rolled my eyes as I moved into the next position.

"If your gonna stare please move forward so I know who the hell is staring at me" I said with an annoyed sigh.

They still didn't move I sighed and turned to face them. It was Coulson, May and a man I haven't met before.

"Can I help you yoga is a really important part of my morning it helps me to telepathically connect" I crossed my arms

"Sorry for bothering you I'll leave you three now" Coulson said and he left.

I took a drink of water and headed back into my splits laying myself back so I was laid on my back leg.

"So do you need something? Who's this?" I asked the woman in front of me.

"This is my ex husband Andrew your father" she said to me as I moved into the next position which was a contortion move my legs were over my head as I looked at them.

I was frozen again I came out of the position standing up in front of them.

I just looked in between them both "eh I see it" I smirked Having a drink of water.

"It's nice to have you home when Melinda told me I didn't know what to do we never stopped looking fit you" I bit my lip and nodded my head clicking my tongue

"She told me it's nice to meet you" i said holding my hand out but he didn't take it he just pulled me into a hug I tensed at first not used to the contact.

I gave the woman a look and she patted his shoulder and he pulled away.

At that moment Skye had told me it was time to go back to afterlife.

I prepared to leave with Zara and Skye but I was pulled back by my mother.

"Your leaving?" She asked with concern.

"I have to I have some things to deal with" She was nearly crying "but I just got you back"

"I'll come back I promise I have to deal with Jiaying" she looked hesitant but nodded. And I teleported us away.

Afterlife
The four of us landed in afterlife and Jiaying came towards us.

I gave Jiaying a look and she quickly looked away. I was angry at what she had done.

Once Skye and Jiaying had their meeting I barged into her office slamming the door.

"What the hell you took me from my mother!" I shouted at her

She sighed and stood walking towards me slowly

"Nova I did it to protect you from her she's a bad person and she wanted to hurt you....how could I let that happen to a baby..an inhuman" she put her hand on my face as an attempt to calm me down

"No! She would never do that she's a kind and broken woman thanks to you!"

"So you've met her...." she sighed

"Yeah I have!"

"I'm sorry Nova we did what we could to protect you but I'm afraid it's come to this" I was confused for a second before I felt a stabbing pain in my stomach.

I gasped and looked down to see that Jiaying had stabbed a knife into my stomach. I grabbed the knife as my mouth opened in shock and pain

Gordon then came into the room and teleported me into the dangerous inhumans room they had both left me there to die.

I was in pain and as I heard gunfire from outside. I remembered that SHEILD was coming I was hoping my mother was close by as I made contact with her.

I tried to connect our brains telepathically I knew she saw me once my soul form appeared in front of her and only her.

"Nova what on Earth?" She said putting her hand through me

"I don't have— a lot of time" I said taking breaths as it was using my energy my mother now looked concerned

"Jiaying..found out I met you— she was not happy now that she can't keep you from me she decided to keep me from you— she stabbed me and I'm bleeding out fast and this is taking my energy"

"Where are you?....I'll come get you"

I took a breath

"I'll go now and I'll speak in your head follow my instructions and you'll find me but don't let Skye or Zara find you.... they believe Jiaying"

May nodded and I left back to my own body only my voice talking to her in her head.

"Go into the big red building at the left of the waterfall" I told her my voice echoing.

"Once there go seven floors down to the bottom of the building" as I felt her presence coming closer I smiled

"Go down the left hallway then take a right"

"Okay what next?"

"Go down that hallway and I'm in the fifth door on the left"

As I left her head I could hear her faint footsteps running down the hall. The blood now pooled around me and was dripping out of my mouth.

Soon enough the door burst open and I turned my head to see my mother stood there looking at me with worry.

She picked me up bridal style and carried me back out of the room.

"Come on stay awake... for me I can't lose you again" I tried my best to keep my eyes open

Soon we were at the edge of afterlife and was about to leave when Skye ran upto May

"What are you doing.." she shouted

May turned and Skye was shocked when she saw me

"What's happening?" She asked

"I don't know help me figure it out and get nova medical help" May told her.

"I cant let you take her if Jiaying locked her up there must be a good reason"

May knew this would end in a fight so she placed me down onto the ground so I would not get more hurt if Skye made a move while she was holding me.
