Ghost au

Florida didn't have to readjust to walking into anything, he didn't follow the same rules as some of the others (the ones who didn't find something to possess) so he really just had to adjust to walking around other people and opening doors

Scott (the man from before- name might change) had something to possess and got to act mortal (eat, sleep, drink) Florida didn't

He refuses to let Florida avoid adjusting when they get there, encouraging him to open doors and talk to people

Florida ignores the others when he gets called the first time, breaking down and begging them to stop talking because he knows they're a hallucination, Scott has to call him back

He bumps into people a lot, really used to having them walk through them

He always feels bad after

===

"Your fault" by Maddie Malekos on TikTok but it's Florida's siblings to their parents

===

Trans Florida gets to talk to his mother at some point and is terrified, expecting her to misgender him but she's so excited

She tells him all about how proud of her son she is and he nearly breaks down

===

Florida hides a lot of his needs because he got hit for them as a kid

He refuses to acknowledge his trauma around the others

He won't tell them when they hurt him/overstepped a boundary (or even set boundaries)

He's really upset about his mental health but he's working on it (and getting better)

I'm so obsessed with this movie for no reason

Florida as queen barb

I was kinda considering the fanfic reveal being Florida dumping all his insecurities into a fic and using "when he sees me"

he makes it really clear in the tags he's projecting with things like "oh no guys he's very nice, has lovely eyes, and makes me laugh" "I'm scared of breaking open" "what happens then?"

The fic is just all of his partners traits compared to how he sees himself

Cali and New York read it and think it's really close to how they see their partners (minus how Florida sees himself) and don't think that much of it

Until the main character starts talking about how he's too chaotic and describing a character a bit to similar to how DC looked in a meeting

They keep reading and it just fits more and more

Smth like that
