I sat in silence as I read one of my many books on my couch, my legs propped up on another pillow my head on the armrest as my eyes scanned the words carefully.
"I have never loved someone as much as I love you Alana! You- you get me and you love me yo- you love me! Just please Alana believe me! Please..!" I read the line out of the book, I feel bad for both of them, this is why I could never date a millionaire mafia boss I mean, my trust issues would be through the roof too.
I continued to read on when my phone started vibrating making me avert my attention picking up my phone to see Jonahs contact I answer as I hear laughing from the other line.
"Jonah?.." I speak as I hear him huff out a loud breath.
"God dammit! Sorry Ly I didn't mean to call you me and Zach were wrestling haha."
"It's alright haha, wait.., why are you guys wrestling?"
"Cause' he ate ALL of my lucky charms- you know how I get with my lucky charms."
"THEY'RE LUCKY CHARMS SHUT UP!" I heard Zachs not faint voice boom from the phone.
"THEY WERE MINE I BOUGHT THEM WITH MY MONEY YOU GREMLIN!" Jonah yelled back.
"Do I need to come over there! You guys are acting like children!"
"It's not my fault he's being a cry baby!" Zach commented.
"You guys are actually ridiculous," I sighed out as I shook my head, "okay I'm hanging up now-"
"No come over Ly, we're bored."
"I don't care and I was kidding, I'm trying to read goodbye." I didn't give Jonah a chance to respond that time before I hung up and went back to my book. ————
