Episode 5

Katherina POV

When the bright light hit my face, I stretched my arm to the side table and picked up my phone, it was 8:30 a.m. I placed my phone back on the table and pulled the blanket up over my head, closing my eyes again.

My body ached, and I had no plans to get out of bed today.

My phone rang, disrupting my peace, and I sat up on the bed to answer it.

"Good morning Natalia," I said on the phone.

"Good morning Katherina, hope I'm not disturbing you," Natalia said.

"No...no, please tell me," I said and close my eyes.

"I have planned everything for tomorrow's party, everything is done," she told me, "I was thinking if you can check and give the approval for the arrangement"

"I don't have to check anything. I know you have done an amazing job" I told her, "Let's send the invitations to everyone"

"Yes, about that... how can we send an invite to Mr. Pierce?" Natalia asked me.

"Like you are going to send me an invite" I teased her

"Katherina, inviting you is different... but sir..."

I chuckle at her reaction, "Relax Natalia, just do one thing, send an invite on the name of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce at my home address, and then I'll take care of the rest" I told her.

"What are you taking care of?" Nathan's voice made me open my eyes, the sight of my gorgeous husband made me smile ear to ear.

I kept looking at him as he walks towards me, "Is that it, Natalia?" I asked.

"Yes, that's all"

Nathan sat in front of me and grabbed my free hand, which was lying on my lap, "Ok, I won't be coming to the office today," I said, and Nathan looked up at me with happy big eyes. "Please call me if there is anything important," I told Natalia.

"Sure Katherina, bye"

"Thanks, bye" I cut the call, and immediately Nathan attacked my lips.

"I'm so happy" he whispered near my lips, "Thanks for the amazing last night baby" he murmurs making me smile and kissed me again.

Nathan pulls back and grabs my hand, while I pull the blanket near to cover my chest with my free hand.

"Do you any plans for tomorrow?" I asked Nathan and he just looked at me frowning which made me frown, I was confused since he wasn't answering.

"Do you think that anything can be more important for me than you?" he answers my question with a question and I realized my mistake.

"We are going to a party tomorrow," I told him directly

"We are?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes"

"I love going to parties with you" Nathan gave me a bright smile.

"Great" I pull my hand from his hold, "I'm sleeping now" I move to lay down.

"No...no...no" Nathan picked me in his arms in a second, "We are going to have a bath" he walked towards the bathroom taking me in his arms and I just gave up.

After the bath, I changed into my clothes and went into the living room to drink my coffee. Nathan was pacing around by the fireplace, fixated with the phone call, while I slumped on the couch to drink my coffee and relax.

"Mommy!" Nick rushed downstairs with his stuffed toy and jumped on my lap, "Are we going to the zoo today?" he asked looking at me with twinkling blue orbs.
