Chapter XIV: The bidding

Chuuya's pov-

Dazai ran his fingers down my neck to my chest. Then pulled me in closer, biting my bottom lip. I kissed back, sliding in my tongue inside his mouth. His hand went down to my waist pulling me closer to him. Then I pushed him against the shower wall, while water was running down my hair.

-Someone got braver, I see.- He tilted his head back.

I interrupted him with a kiss to his neck, then, I lightly bit it, making Dazai let out a small noise, like a moan. My lips traveled from the top of his neck to his collarbone, leaving red marks all over Dazai's skin. Then got back to his lips and gently kissed them.

-Can I wash you're back?- he asked and I nodded.

Dazai took the shower gel bottle and put some on his hands. I turned around and he started massaging my back and shoulders. His hands went down to my waist and then left my body. Dazai took the shower head and washed off the shower gel foam.

That's when he showed up in my head. He whispered "You're not worth it" "Kill" and "More blood".

Dazai's pov-

Chuuya freezed and didn't say anything.

-Chuuya, are you okay?

He didn't answer just grabbed his head and squated down.

-Hey! Chuuya, what's wrong?

Then he suddenly stood up.

-I have to go...- He said quietly.

-Why? What happened?

-Nothing, I'm going home.- He walked out of the shower. I turned off the water and followed him.

I grabbed his wrist.

-Wait. You know, you can tell me everything.

-Yes, but I don't think this should be shared.

Chuuya wiped off the water and got dressed. I stood there, watching everything, questioning myself what should I do? Then I saw a soft red light around Chuuya's hands before he put on his gloves.

-I should've never come. Sorry.- He ran out of bathroom and before I could catch up to him he was already gone through the window.

I came up to it, leaning on the sill. I heard a roar coming from Chuuya's motorcycle. There goes my first and only love, I thought. Why am I not going after him? That's when my legs started moving. I sat on the window sill with my legs hanging down from it. Then I turned around, hanging down with my whole body, grabbing the sill with my hands. After that I leaned to the left and grabbed the rain pipe. I put my foot on the rain pipe attachment to the wall. (A/N Idk how to explain it.) Then the other foot and jumped onto the grass. I ran after the motorcycle but it was already too far.

I went to his apartment as quickly as I could but no one opened the door so I called an uber and rode to the Yokohoma beach where I thought I could find him.

It was about 1 a.m. The night sky was painted dark blue with white specles all over it. The waves were falling onto the shore, wind was blowing sand, creating relaxing sounds. A black figure was sitting on the ground. I slowly walked up to him and sat down next to him.

I looked at Chuuya's face, it was wet from tears. I saw his hands trembling, took in my palm and gently squeezed.

-Everything is gonna be okay. I'm here now, I will protect you.- I whispered but he just broke down crying and leaned on my shoulder. I hugged him without saying anything.

-I-I'm not scared o-of being hurt, I'm scared of hurting you.

-You couldn't hurt me. I know you couldn't. It's okay.

-He... He's too loud... It's too loud... I don't know if I can do this...

-Wait, what is it? Who's "he"?

-He's eating up my soul bit by bit...

-Who is it? I will kill him!- I was mad now.

-You can't. The day I die, He'll die with me...- Chuuya wiped his tears off and looked at me. I knew what he was thinking

-No, no! You can't do it!

-But if I don't people will suffer... You know, people can have multiple abilities... People like me... I have a secret ability - Corruption but once I'm in that state I can't go back unless I die... But I feel corruption starting to overflow since I haven't used it before.

-It will be okay. We will find a way to control it. You can't give up now!

-It isn't giving up if it's the only option.

-But I can't live without you! I love you, Chuuya!
