"Raph it doesn't matter what you wear! We're going on a picnic!" You shout through the door, he sighs, coming out in what he normally wears, "Thank you, can we go now?" he nods, watching as you grab his hand and pull him out of the lair with your picnic basket in hand.
"I still don't get this whole 'date' thing." You sigh, climbing up the ladder into the surface, "Raph, when two people love each other, they go on an isolated trip together, to show how much they love each other, and it's called a date."
You state as he climbs out behind you, "Okay, that makes a little sense, but I still don't get it." He says, wrapping his arms around you and kissing your head, you roll your eyes slightly, not holding back the smile coming to your face.
"Can we go now before someone gets a picture of us together?" You ask, he nods, letting you grab his hand and drag him off to the local park. You walk into the slight forest area and set your picnic basket down on the ground.
He looks around, squinting slightly as he sees how bright it is, "It's really weird being out during the daylight." he states, sitting down on the blanket you had just laid out. You sit down next to him, laying down the homemade food in front of you.
Raph pulls you into his chest, letting you sit there for a second, rocking you back and forth, "I like your true self more, dates or not." You claim, reaching up and caressing his cheek. He smiles down at you, kissing your forehead.
You grab the strawberry container shoving one in his mouth. You shove one in your own mouth, putting the leaf into the lid of the box. You lay on your back as you swallow, looking up into the trees.
Raph lays next to you, intertwining his fingers with yours. You close your eyes as you take in a deep breath of fresh air, listening to the calming sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind.
Raph smiles as he admires you, wanting to reach out and caress your face but not wanting to disturb your peace. You sigh, opening your eyes and turning towards Raph, watching in amusement as he turns away awkwardly.
You grab his chin gently and turn him towards you, kissing his lips lovingly, not noticing the cameras flashing in the distance. You sit up and grab one of the sandwiches that you made, Raph grabbing the other.
"This is a lot nicer than I thought." Raph states, taking a bite of his sandwich. You nod, "I thought the same when I went on my first picnic date. I thought it was going to be awkward." Raph smirks, leaning in again, "Well now I'm going to be the only one taking you one dates."
You smile, nodding, leaning in and kissing him again, his lips tasting like mayonnaise.
