After you started dating Donnie a few weeks ago, you've felt happier than you ever have in your life, probably. Although you guys were almost complete opposites, you got along pretty well, you guys basically just treated it as though you were still friends, just adding in a few "dates" every now and then.

Donnie was also really excited when you said yes to teaching him how to make some of your own gadgets, he said they could help with missions, or something like that, and you were glad to help.

You had been working on a copy of a blueprint that Donnie really wanted, although he said he could just take a photo of it, you insisted that you'd just make him his own copy, so it'd be easier to see.

You knew what it was like to work from a tiny little piece of paper, and you absolutely hated it, so you didn't want Donnie to have to suffer through that too, it was terrible.

Luckily you had managed to snatch some paper from your professor a while back, and you had some extras to trace your work over, all while blasting some music in your ears so you could keep out any other sound.

You were startled by the vibration of soft footsteps, you quickly grab a sharpened pencil and stand up, quickly turning around, the pencil coming right to the plastron of your boyfriend, Donatello.

You heard him slightly yelp, given as you had accidentally scared him, "Donnie? What're you doing here?" you ask as you put your pencil down to your side.

Donnie regains his posture and stands up straight again, acting as though he had never been startled in the first place, "I brought my brothers over here because I think it's time we tell them the news, (Y/N)."

Your eyes widen slightly, but then they go back to normal once you realize how long you had kept it a secret, you nod, agreeing to his statement, even though you weren't to happy about him bringing his brothers along without him telling you. 

You guys both climb up the fire escape up to the roof, making sure Donnie stays out of the way of the windows that people were in. Once you reached the roof you were greeted with Donnie's brothers.

You gave them all a small smile, which was weird to them, since the last time they saw you, you were balling your eyes out into Donnie's shoulder. Donnie decided he'd cut right to the chase,

"Me and (Y/N) are dating and have been for a few weeks!" He blurted out, you rolled your eyes and nodded, seeing a hint of sadness in Mikey's eyes but he quickly replaced it with happiness that was obviously fake.

You left them that night feeling relieved but also confused.

What was that look for?
