*A/N: OMG thank you so much Ari and Penny for writing some sections of this chapter. I'll put a star where they started and ended. *
Could this even be real? The whole school knows her as a player. Thank god it was the weekend, so she had time to think it through. She really wanted to be with him, but at the same time, everyone would be watching her every move. The only way they could see each other was by hiding around the school and sneaking into one of their houses. She looked around her room to see that Adrien was still beside her, sleeping. 'He is so cute. I could get used to this.' She started getting up and out of my bed to go take a shower. That's when she saw her wrist. It was badly bruised.
Adrien slowly opened up his eyes to see where he was. 'Wait, Mari's gone!' He quickly got up ready to look for her but then he heard the shower turn on and knew that's where she was. Thankfully they didn't have school, as it was the weekend. Thoughts of Mari kept popping up in his mind so he went back to lay in her bed, the scent of her still there. He heard her coming out of the shower and sitting down at her desk to do some work. He slowly walked up behind her and kissed her cheek, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Adrien! You scared me."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." He looked disappointed in what he did.
"It's okay, you're just lucky I didn't punch you." She laughed it off and turned around.
"Wait, won't your dad notice you're not at your house ?" Oh yeah, he forgot about his dad.
"I don't have anything planned today so I'll just tell him that I'm with you and that you needed help." His dad was still a bitch but now that he was older his dad had let him be with friends once he made some. He was glad his dad got a little less strict but, he wished his dad wasn't a helicopter parent to him.
"Okay, well I want to get some of this homework finished." Just as she said that she heard someone calling up to her.
"Girl, you will not believe this. You need to stay at my place for a bit!" Crap! Alya must have seen that Luka was back in town and came to check on her.
"Adrien, you need to go up to my balcony, I'll try to get her out of here as fast as I can okay?" She ushered him up the stairs and just as she closed her trap door Alya burst through her door. 'That was a close one' she thought to herself.
"Girl, I don't know how to say this, but he's back in town." Alya started pacing around the room.
"I know, I've already ran into him." She tried to hide the bruise on her wrist but Alya saw it before she could hide.
"Did he do that to you?" Alya came running up to her and just hugged her. Mari started crying again while nodding. She really didn't want to talk about it at the time. She mainly wanted to stay in the blonde's arms, not that Alya was bad but she couldn't protect her the way Adrien could.
"Alya please, I love you but I really want to be alone. My parents are here so he wouldn't dare try anything with them here. It was too overwhelming yesterday and I just need space." She felt really bad kicking Alya out but she just couldn't handle her with all of her 'Alya' type questions. She also wanted to be back to the cute boy that was standing on her roof.
"Okay girl, I'll see you tomorrow?"
"Sure." Alya finally turned around back down the stairs saying goodbye to Mari's parents. Mari went back up to her roof to see Adrien sitting on the lawn chair half asleep.
"Adrien? She's gone." She watched as he jumped up in shock.
"Did I scare you?" She laughed as Adrien walked towards her. He slowly got closer to her and just as their lips were about to touch he stopped.
