Oh, no. Oh, God.

Syd's secret. It's out.

"Shit!" Stanley yelled.

"Fuck!" I yelled.

We were all really just cursing at this point.

"What the fuck?" Stanley asked, "Syd!" He yelled to Sydney.

Sydney turned around and saw me, Stanley, and Amara.

"Fuck." Sydney said.

"How did... I mean, you... you just..." Stanley trailed off as he stared at the trees that were in terrible condition.

I just stared at Sydney. I had no idea how much chaos could come from such a small girl. It was almost... terrifying. I really had no idea what to say or do in this moment.

"They were like this when I got there, I... I swear." Sydney tried to defend herself, "They were."

"No, no. No, no, I..." Stanley stuttered, "I saw it, Syd."

Sydney looked hard at us for a couple seconds.

I don't even know how Amara or Stanley hadn't fainted yet. This could be terrifying for someone like them.

"Well, you better keep this a secret, okay?" Sydney yelled at us three, "Not a fucking word! Got it?"

We were silent for a moment.

"Promise me, please!" Sydney pleaded.

"Okay." Stanley said.

"Okay. I- I promise, Syd." I said. Amara nodded in agreement.

Sydney looked to me and mouthed a scared/sad 'thankyou'.

Dear Maria, what the actual fuck is going on lately.

So, first, my mum brings home a woman whom I had no idea I'd be meeting. Then, I'm forced to bring her (surprisingly nice and chill) daughter to Ricky Berry's birthday party. And then, Sydney's power's are exposed to Stanley and Amara. And now, I don't even know. I mean, Anika, my mum's girlfriend, stayed the night, so I let Amara clean up and sleep in my bed last night. And plus, apparently it's now my job to make sure Amara gets to school until my mum breaks things off with Anika. Amara is basically my sister now. We share a room, have to go to school together, have to use the same bathroom. She's basically replacing you, Maria. That's not good. It's been a literal fucking day!

I threw my pen across the room, right through a window. I shot back from my spot on my bed.

"Woah." I whisper-yelled.

This wasn't an uncommon occurence anymore, but it still frightened me.

"You okay?" Amara asked as she swung into the room in my clothing.

But don't worry, I've allowed her.

"Woah. You look great." I said to Amara.

Amara smiled, "Thanks. Luckily, we have the same size clothing, so it wasn't so hard to fit."

"Also, yeah. I'm fine. Just got a little mad and threw my pen." I said and pointed to the window.
